This more expensive cousin of the Dodge Grand Caravan is pleasant enough but is falling behind the competition from Honda and Toyota. Interior flexibility got a boost with the introduction of the 2005 model, which has flat-folding second- and third-row seats, but noise levels increased. This setup eliminates the AWD model. The minivan rides well with a light load and handles securely.

"The driver side electrical cables that move with the sliding door opening and closing failed from wear. The car was 11 years old and probably had more than 4000 openings and closing in 11 years. So, this was a problem of the cables just being worn out, not a flaw in the design or reliability as CR is sometimes biased to do with Chrysler cars.. It was still hand operable, so not a safety problem. The passenger side sliding door is used at least 5 times less and so, I don't expect the cables to wear out for a long time or before I buy a new car replacement.
