This version of the Grand Caravan is pleasant to drive, handles soundly, and has a roomy interior. We also found it to be quiet, with good wind- and road noise suppression. Still though, it can't match the quality and refinement of the better minivans. Limited interior flexibility and subpar fit and finish detract from the overall package.

    Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

    Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

    What Owners Say

"We have had the 2003 Dodge Caravan since 2003. It has been very reliable and comfortable to drive. My wife put 50 plus miles 5 days a week on this vehicle and loved it. She picked it out and it has been trouble free. At 214000 miles it is still going strong, not burning oil. Had to replace the alternator at 205000, water pump at 200000. Very minor repairs for such an old vehicle. Replace the computer at 212000. Driving as good as new."

Anonymous, NC (2003 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"A great value for a vehicle that exemplifies the utiity of these things. Not cool in the eyes if most, perhaps, but tough to beat for hauling people and things without excess weight or macho styling cues."

Anonymous, VA (2003 Dodge Grand Caravan)

    "Good solid perfomer"

Jon L., OR (2003 Dodge Grand Caravan)
