Chrysler addressed a major shortcoming of the Grand Caravan by improving its interior flexibility. The second- and third-row seats can now be folded flat into the floor, ending the need to remove heavy seats. There's also more in-cabin storage space. However, the increased flexibility doesn't compensate for the number of areas where the Grand Caravan falls short of the better minivans.

    Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Anonymous, ON (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"The front seats are very comfortable and the drivers position is easy to adjust"

Anonymous, NY (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

    Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

    What Owners Say

"This car has been a great value. We've owned it for all 11 years. We love the fact that we don't have to lift seats in or out. They just lower or raise from the floor."

Sydney M., CA (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"The 2008's had come out, and the dealer had a few 2007's left. They were wanting to move them as quick as possible. I dealt with them until I got down to 23% off sticker. Plus $5000 for my trade-in which other dealers would have given me $4000. It has been an excellent vehicle for the money. So, in essence I got 30% off sticker."

Anonymous, IA (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"I bought the extended Max Care Lifetime Warranty when I purchased my Dodge Grand Caravan new in 2008 - it protects the powertrain - for as long as I own the car. I have repeatedly had dealer mechanics comment that is a great thing to have. Though I have yet to have any major problems with the minivan, the peace of mind this Max Care affords me gives me a sense of great value. I intend to live a long time and never give up this van. 20 years from now if the engine dies - it's still covered under this warranty!"

Anonymous, KY (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"No serious mechanical problems to date. AC recharged one time. Does not ride like a sedan however. Generally pleased with performance."

Anonymous, MO (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"Vehicle well put together, no major problems ever. Purchased new with a $5000. rebate and lifetime powertrain warranty with free 5 year inspections at any Dodge dealer."

Anonymous, PA (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"Great discount on a comfortable, reliable, vehicle."

Dennis W., IL (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"basic model good value none of the transmission or other mechanical problems usually associated with these products everything including a/c still works extensive rusting is the only problem"

Anonymous, ON (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"The vehicle is very prone to rusting on all body panels"

John S., MI (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"It's very well designed for multi use, passenger configuration and cargo"

Sydney M., CA (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

    "Space"

Wayne H., IL (2007 Dodge Grand Caravan)

"This van keeps on moving...no big maintenance issues, a comfortable ride, and very functional. We used it heavily and then allowed our son to take it to college. It is a reliable vehicle."
