What Owners Say

12V battery

Anonymous A., MI (2022 Ford F-150 Hybrid XLT 3.5-L V6 hybrid)

""The 12 volt battery system quickly discharges when the vehicle is parked. After 10 days to 2 weeks of being parked in the garage, the battery is so discharged that the vehicle won't start. During one incident last summer, I experienced everything being dead. I put a battery charger on the battery and fully charged it. Even after that, a plethora of warnings came up on the digit cluster saying many things were wrong. The vehicle would still not start. It had to be towed to the dealership. They reset the system and told me there was nothing more they could do and that I just needed to drive the vehicle more. So nothing has been done to fix this issue. It continues to happen. I've owned numerous vehicles for over 40 years. I've never seen anything like this. It is unacceptable for a new vehicle that has been parked for a couple of weeks to be DOA.""
