The F-350 is a heavy-duty truck with a 1-ton capacity as opposed to the 1/2 ton of the F-150. The Super Duty line was redesigned for 2015 with new exterior and revised engines. The ride is stiff and bouncy, especially compared to the F-150. Ford's 6.0-liter turbodiesel packs some real punch and is fairly quiet and free of vibration. Stepping into the cabin is more difficult because of the high floor.

What Owners Say

"Truck jumps over bumps, need to be smoother"

Anonymous, IL (2017 Ford F-350)

"Diesel is very powerful with great acceleration. Adaptive cruise control is the best driving feature that takes the frustration out of driving."

K H., TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"The truck accelerates very well. The ride on the ride is as good as most cars even if there is no bed load. It is very stable with no sense of roll."

Kirt R., MT (2017 Ford F-350)

"I configured this truck to haul or carry about anything. It's equipped with the 6.7L diesel and I love the power of this engine. The truck is a crew cab with an 8Ft bed so it's long and takes some getting used to. It requires some backing an filling in most perpendicular spaced parking lots if there aren't a couple of empty spaces to swing in to."

Anonymous, OH (2017 Ford F-350)

"Enormous torque! Climbs our mountain roads in overdrive, 1600 rpm at 65mph. Adaptive speed control is excellent - “sees‿ vehicles in fog that are not visible to the driver. 360 degree camera system allows parking and maneuvering in tight spaces"

Robert L., UT (2017 Ford F-350)

"Unbelievable capabilities when using this truck. Fun to drive."

Anonymous, IA (2017 Ford F-350)

"It drives well for a large truck. The diesel engine is very powerful for towing our large trailer. It handles well but the solid front end does translate some of the bumps to the steering wheel."

Jimmy T., OK (2017 Ford F-350)

"Comfortable seats, quiet, excellent performance towing our 16000 lb fifth wheel. Truck has lots of power and good fuel economy towing. On a recent trip from Salmon Arm, BC to Calgary, AB we got 12.39 mpg (imperial gallon)."

Anonymous, AB (2017 Ford F-350)

"Lots of torque, cameras help guide buyers, accident avoidance is superb.."

Anonymous, VA (2017 Ford F-350)

"I am always amazed at how well this truck handles. I have loaded it down with 9,000 lbs of gravel and it just makes the ride smoother. I have had to make “panic‿ stops and swerves to avoid collisions while towing my 15,000 lb RV and am always thankful for the amazing way the truck just seems to take it all in stride. Windy weather, no problem. Hills and mountain passes, like it owns them."

Anonymous, NC (2017 Ford F-350)

"I pull a 43' fifth wheel camper, the truck handles this very well"

Mark N., IN (2017 Ford F-350)

"Excellent towing vehicle. Powerful, easy to manage big loads, very safe feeling & tremendous technology for towing and hauling. Love the LED lighting. Only bad area was continued problems with leaking rear (outside tires on dually) tires. 3 dealer visits didn't solve. Finally after I got forceful and threatened to take my plight to social media did dealer miraculously communicated with Ford and there was a replacement valve. Problem fixed but continually having tire pressure go low is major concern, especially while towing 20k lbs of trailer and car @ 60+ mpg on interstate. Beyond this major problem, the truck rides better with load of course, but is a great truck with excellent brakes, acceleration."

Anonymous, MD (2017 Ford F-350)

"Great for hauling large snomo trailer good power and good fuel mileage"

Don W., MN (2017 Ford F-350)

"Smooth ride for one ton truck. Pulls trailer effortlessly"

Michael E., MN (2017 Ford F-350)

"Good acceleration. Very good handling. Pulls RV easily."

Donna J., CO (2017 Ford F-350)

"Top notch Ford Platium. All I expected and more!"

Carol D., PA (2017 Ford F-350)

"Excellent acceleration, so quickly must be fully aware of speed you get to quickly."

Betty B., MT (2017 Ford F-350)

"Towing power, good mileage, exceptional acceleration for a diesel"

Anonymous, NH (2017 Ford F-350)

"Great in both areas, especially when towing or hauling. It "Walks the Talk" and does it with style."

Vince Z., MD (2017 Ford F-350)

"Great power for towing"

Robert N., AB (2017 Ford F-350)

"We use this truck for cross country hauling of our goose neck horse trailer / camper. The diesel engine is quiet and powerful. I feel like you could haul anything. The suspension, handling, responsiveness are excellent."

Jason R., WI (2017 Ford F-350)

"Superior power and torque to previous 1 ton models. Much better towing performance"

Anonymous, MI (2017 Ford F-350)

"Power"

Anonymous, CO (2017 Ford F-350)

"An exceptional ride for a very large vehicle."

Alice K., MI (2017 Ford F-350)

"The F350 has plenty of power when pulling or carrying heavy loads. The truck responds quickly when additional speed or braking is needed. The exhaust brake is a benefit when towing heavy loads on steep inclines. You feel that you are in complete control of the vehicle and road when driving this vehicle."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Ford F-350)

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Very comfortable ride, but they need to make the seats more adjustable for a short person. It's difficult to see over the front even with the 8-way adjustable seat in the highest position. Yet we picked the Ford because it was the better than all the other large pick-ups we tried for visual clearance."

Anonymous, MI (2017 Ford F-350)

"For a large, diesel truck it is as quiet as a modern car. The seats are very comfortable and provide a lot of support for longer trips. Ours has the massaging option which adds another layer of comfort."

Jimmy T., OK (2017 Ford F-350)

"Seats are to firm."

David M., WI (2017 Ford F-350)

"easy to use"

Mike F., NY (2017 Ford F-350)

"Air conditioned, heated, contoured leather seats provide excellent comfort on long trips. Progressive springs provide the best possible ride for the load carried, especially with no load."

Robert L., UT (2017 Ford F-350)

"Completely satisfied except for a clicking nose in the moonroof at highway speed"

Aaron P., IL (2017 Ford F-350)

"Very comfortable seats"

Anonymous, WA (2017 Ford F-350)

"quiet,. good view of the road, great seats fro long haul, still rides like a truck, but that is what it is used for"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"Quiet for a diesel. Near carlike ride even though it is a 1 ton truck. Heated seats work well."

Anonymous, MI (2017 Ford F-350)

"The ride comfort is very good for a one ton work horse. While towing my 45 ft. RV fifth wheel I sometimes find myself looking back to make sure the trailer is still there."

Anonymous, NC (2017 Ford F-350)

"This is the most comfortable and quietest vehicle I have ever owned. You can ride for hours and still feel fresh at the end of the day. The seats, controls, and entire cab layout are well designed and aesthetically pleasing (crew cab). The dual climate control is a nice feature."

Jason R., WI (2017 Ford F-350)

"Our primary use of this truck is pulling a 3 Horse living quarters trailer, often for long distances. The cab comfort is outstanding."

Anonymous, OH (2017 Ford F-350)

Anonymous, IA (2017 Ford F-350)

"Diesel is very quite. Heated and cooled seats are very nice and comfortable."

K H., TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"This is a one ton pickup but given that, the ride is surprisingly comfortable and the cabin is the quietest of any pickup I've owned. On long trips I prefer the truck to my Accord."

Anonymous, OH (2017 Ford F-350)

"Seat comfort is subpar on longer trips."

Anonymous, TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"Very roomy great for long trips"

Don W., MN (2017 Ford F-350)

Steven H., TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"Seats are very comfortable on long trips, The 6.7 l diesel is very strong when towing. Very safe truck. Adaptive cruise makes the ride safer and more comfortable. Cameras supply info to all sides of truck. Accident avoidance using the camera is noteworthy. Wish all vehicles had thie"

Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"Shopped and negotiated with 3 dealers and managed to get $18,000 off Ford’s MSRP. Factory ordered the truck equipped primarily for towing and I’m extremely pleased with the trucks performance."

Anonymous, AB (2017 Ford F-350)

"This is a great vehicle. For long trips it is better than almost any car, suv or minivan."

Jerry K., MI (2017 Ford F-350)

"Just bought it. Love the truck."

Michael E., MN (2017 Ford F-350)

"Great value for all the options and reliability."

Todd A., FL (2017 Ford F-350)

"Bought it in late December and they were VERY willing to negotiate"

Anonymous, NC (2017 Ford F-350)

"Wish I had purchased the Platinum trim package to get the "360" camera system. Would purchase this package from dealer if offered but Ford did not install the wiring harness durning build out. Realized the importance of '360' cameras on a vehicle this size too late."

Ralph R., AZ (2017 Ford F-350)

"Never buy list. I went to several dealers to find the color and options, when found, 3 different dealers gave me a price for the same VIN. I choose the smart dealer and bought $19k under msrp."

Anonymous, TX (2017 Ford F-350)

"I thought $44k was pretty high for a truck but I would grudgingly do it again to repeat this performance"

Anonymous, NC (2017 Ford F-350)
