The Ford Fusion is agile and satisfying to drive, with a sporty feel. Its V6 engine and automatic transmission make for a smooth and responsive powertrain, the four-cylinder option is a bit coarse however. Additionally, Fusion's interior is well made and space is generous.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Anonymous, CA (2006 Ford Fusion)

“Climate control buttons placed too low to see clearly while driving. Brake light in rear window significantly restricts driver's rear vision. No glove compartment light. Very powerful acceleration.”
