Anonymous, MI (2008 GMC Acadia)"They're beautiful on the outside. The seating material and door panels are nice. Its the flooring, seat tracks, and storage. The flooring shouldn't be light colored in a vehicle geared for families. If your kids come with toys or electronic items there's no where to store them. The pouch on the back of the seat is tight. Anonymous, IL (2008 GMC Acadia)"When approaching highway speed the transmission shifts too soon. If rapid acceleration is needed to merge into traffic, the transmission is forced to downshift twice resulting in the engine racing to near red line and the vehicle going nowhere. Other than that, the Acadia has been an excellent vehicle that is fun to drive, given its size, power, etc."
Anonymous, NE (2008 GMC Acadia)"V6 with a 6 speed transmission. Under-powered. Vehicle is constantly shifting gears which is annoying and is not very economical."
Anonymous, MI (2008 GMC Acadia)"Have always loved the styling of our 2008 Acadia. Have also always thought the vehicle was a bit under powered. When parked at an angle (front end lower than the rear end), the sun roof can leak a lot, flooding the dash area and ruining electronics. THIS has been a major issue three separate times in the 9 years we have had the vehicle."
Owen T., TX (2008 GMC Acadia)"great handling and good acceleration"
Gerald B., OR (2008 GMC Acadia)"very smooth ride and very comfortable. Acceleration is a little slow and seems to lack power but it was known as a typical issue with the vehicle when we bought it."
Anonymous, IL (2008 GMC Acadia)
"It drives much smaller than it is. Very easy to drive with car like composure."
