Anonymous, OR (2018 GMC Acadia)"The transmission is hard to shift (auto). There is a kick in it when you accelerate. Not a smooth shifting vehicle."
Anonymous, NY (2018 GMC Acadia)"2 wheel to 4 wheel drive is smooth. excellent mpg. 2 wheel fast acceleration cause slight front end torque."
Anonymous, MI (2018 GMC Acadia)
"On our last full round trip from Thousand Oaks CA to Los Olivos CA "wine country" (up and over Hwy 154), we kept freeway speeds between 60 to 65 (40 to 50 with traffic going up two-lane Hwy 154) in an effort to test maximum mileage (w/two on board). This returned a phenomenal 29.1 MPG (driveway to driveway). Also very surprising, the 3.6L VVT DI engine provides absolutely outstanding acceleration whenever required (sets you back in your seat). Of course, with any length of WOT throttle position, mileage will indeed begin to drop, but if the throttle is handled moderately, it is very easy to see 26 MPG on any long trip (even higher if speed is reduced as in our recent max mileage test). You can have power and speed, but not both. Regardless, excellent emergency acceleration is available whenever required (this thing really scoots!)"
