"Thermostat failed at 60000 miles"
Anonymous A., FL (2020 GMC Canyon SLE 3.6-L V6)"Purchased used at 28,000 mi. Had the problem when down-shifting on an incline under cruise control. Have fought with GMC for 2 years to get it fixed. They (2 separate GMC Dealers) don't know how to fix it and won't replace the transmission. It appeared to be fixed once, but went back to rough shifting in a few hundred miles. Going in to shop again Monday to try again. Now it has started to bang when I come to a stop for the second time in the morning on my way to work, at about 1/4 mile from home."

"Truck was very new when transmission problems began! Sounded and felt like we were riding on the rumble strip! Horrible 3 hour trip to see our grandkids and 3 hours home !! Dealer was unsuccessful trying to fix it several times. FINALLY rebuilt/replaced it. Hope it lasts!"
