"The rust problem was started before 50000 miles. I got nothing but the run around from the dealership. I finally gave up. Because of that my next vehicle was a Ford. Shopping for a new Ford truck to replace the 2007. Won't even consider a GMC or Chevrolet. This GMC has been maintained and washed with care. Pieces of the wheel well fell off this week."

"Premature brake wear seems to e a tendency attributed to the installer. Based on my research, over torquing the lug nuts can lead to pre mature wearing based on wheel spin that replicates wheel balance issues. In fact, it leads to rotor warp. This appears to be an installation issue when tires are rotated and from initial brake replacement. Unfortunately, there appears to be no reasonable way to prove the cause of the rotor warp. It is not from heavy braking or trailer pulling."
