"Acceleration is fine as long as the transmission is working well. The 8 speed transmission is the only thing I don't like. GM will not admit there is an issue but it most certainly is. It lunges and clunks on upshift and downshift randomnly and is very annoying. Dealer will reprogram and it is good for 3 or 4 days and starts right back acting terrible."

"Everything about the COMFORT of our 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is GREAT--EXCEPT the ride provided by the magnetic suspension when driving on concrete highways. In these conditions, the ride is VERY rough--even on straight, level, and new road surfaces; like a violent "magic fingers" massage. It is jarring and unpleasant, and I am shocked that GMC has no way to adjust or remedy this condition."

"4 wheel drive: 5.3 liter engine for power; treated rotors for long life vs old style rotors on previous GMC Sierras and Chevy Silverado's that rusted thru from the inside out very quickly. (again very quickly - probably from Mexico or China metal). Forgot, also Chevy Tahoe's: Good design on brake calipers two bolts hold it on vs my daughter's 2007 Lexus that has a bolt and a pin that holds the rear rotor and that pin freezes up over time and that make you buy a new caliper. Bad design on Lexus in my opinion. I do my own brake repairs. : Full size vehicle: Heavy duty parts: easy to get into and out of vehicle vs my daughters 2007 Lexus or her brand new accord - way too low: step up bumper to get into bed of pickup: Nice outside style of body(my opinion): I feel safer with a full frame vehicle and sit higher vs a non frame car and sit very low to ground. Knowing that those cars might have more air bags etc.: I have a two door GMC(regular cab) I like looks of two door pick up truck and I like that its its shorter than an extended cab for driving, parking, and more room in my garage and again the looks of the truck."

"Everything about this truck I love. The styling both inside and out gets looks. The drive both acceleration and handling are more like a car than a truck. I have the SLT with premium package."

"GMC placed a back up camera on the touch screen but it failed to install backup sensors. The sensors are more important than the camera. Also the rear lighting in reverse is so bright, it makes the camera nearly useless. Overall, the price of trucks has gone out of sight. It's hard to get anything at a decent price and with the features you like on a lot."
