    Honda Civic Si

    EPA MPG: 25 mpg

    Honda Civic Si Road Test

    Introduction

Available as either a coupe or a four-door sedan, the Civic Si engine got a slight increase to 205 horsepower. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that revs easily, sounds invigorating, and delivers a commendable 29 mpg overall. The six-speed manual transmission has ideally spaced gear ratios and shifts crisply. However, the Si falls short as a sports sedan. While the handling is capable, it is uninspiring and lacking in finesse, and the steering lacks feel and response. The ride is very stiff and noise levels are extremely high. The Si also feels insubstantial, with subpar interior quality.
