What Owners Say
"When I purchased my vehicle used it was not disclosed to me there was an issue with the AC. The dealership did not want to help me and eventually replaced the refrigerant, but did not replace the defective part, so it stopped cooling again once the refrigerant leaked out. I took it to another dealership and they did not have the parts, replaced the refrigerant again and never got back to me about parts being available. I contacted Honda Corporate who initially seemed concerned and willing to help me resolve the problem, but later assigned it to someone who was purposefully unhelpful. Shortly after I bought the vehicle and had issues with the dealership a warranty extension was made for the condenser as this is a KNOWN issue for this car, and yet no one ever took responsibility to help me get this resolved."
Anonymous A., CA (2018 Honda Clarity Plug-in 1.5-L 4 Cyl plug-in hybrid)"In June 2023 I noticed that the A/C was very slow in cooling. I took the car to the dealer's shop and they found that the compressor o-rings were leaking. They were replaced at no cost because I had purchased an extended warranty."

"Wouldnt cool. Dealership tested A few times in 2022, and finally got it to work. Problem recurred and was finally diagnosed properly as a compressor issue in 2023, covered under warranty. Works fine now."
