    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    Automatic wipers

    "wiper settings only work intermittantly"

    Anonymous A., MO (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX-L 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Other electrical system problem

Anonymous, AZ (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""Various electrical things work intermittently, auto seat adjustments, wiper settings, etc.""

    Anonymous A., MO (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX-L 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

""This is another thing that is supposed to be a feature and has become a problem that I had to pay for the privilege of suffering the problem. The charging pad is a slow charger and it doesnt hold the phone well; even a bump can dislodge the phone from the pad. The worse thing is that the phone must, not only fit the space, the charging section has to match and if it doesnt, like my 14 Pro Max, there is nothing one can do and the cubby that one could have had is permanently gone. The rear passenger side window does not roll down and was supposedly "serviced" while under warranty and "fixed" in the sense that the passenger switch worked. That "fix" didn't last and there seems to be no particular reason for the failure --no one sits there regularly and the window is not raised or lowered on any kind of regular basis-- if the motor was the problem, in terms of drawing too much current, the fuse would go out. However, one would expect to be able to raise or lower the window a time or two unless there were some serious defects --defects that one would reasonably believe would have been fixed the first time-- in the mechanism or the motor. Automatic headlights worked for quite a while without a problem and then, one day, no more automatic headlights. Here too, there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason for the failure. The thing that connects all these failures and a few others is the far more difficult access to fuses and the horrible information concerning any feature other than the most basic things so that one has no idea what fuse might be a problem for what system as it would appear that several fuses can be problems for several systems at once. Until this Honda the biggest and earliest problem had been the clutch switch. Other than that, I saw no problems until after 15 years. Those were EXs, the current one is a Touring Hybrid and, although the seats have not changed into cloth, between one thing and another, it has turned into an EX. I have also never gotten anything close to the mpg that Consumer Reports has gotten.""

Anonymous, WY (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    USB port

""At some point in the past, Honda decided to get rid of the universal in USB by designating USB plugs for specific uses only so that charging a phone from one after solving the problems with the stereo with a wireless CarPlay adapter becomes impossible. Worse, the voltage available for the front plugs is below anemic so one needs to use a fast charging plug in the 12v plug but when that stops working and you go looking for the fuses you find that you cant find them! Dont even think of changing the stereo, the stereo in the EX-L and Touring hybrids is so integrated that it cannot be replaced even by a professional.""

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    Anonymous A., TX (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Hybrid 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    EV Battery

Electric/hybrid battery pack failure, replacement or malfunction, or cooling.

    What Owners Say

Electric/hybrid battery pack malfunction (didn't need replacement)

"The system malfunctioned and car was inoperable. A new sensor had to be ordered and replaced."

Anonymous, MA (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Hybrid 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Other electric/hybrid battery problem

"Went from battery well charged and running on electric consistently to rarely running on electric or no more than 1 or 2 minutes and then back to gas. (Hence, the poor mileage. No change in driving habits First 3 years fine, last 6 months, terrible. Dealer said if its not throwing a code, theres nothing to fix questioned what they did before codes, but never got an answer."

Anonymous, FL (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Air or water leaks

""After the first year, rainwater leaked into both sides of the front of the car, causing the front seats to be wet and up to 4 inches of water to accumulate on the floor. The repairman removed some debris from the drainage system by the windshield wipers and moon roof, but the leakage continued even though I kept those areas cleared. I eventually bought a car cover, which is quite a nuisance to use.""

Anonymous, IL (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Hybrid 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
