    What Owners Say

    Other body problem

"So driving on the highway to Arizona from Texas I noticed the hood shaking and vibrating. I pulled off the highway to ensure that the hood latch was in place. What I found was that the adhesive used for the hood frame to hood skin had failed and there was no support underneath. This was an early production car and I brought it to my dealer and they reported it through the Service Desk. Everyone got confused about the repair and once Honda America decided to replace the hood who would handle it. Finally the Body Shop received a new unpainted hood, I had them spray it and buff it out there before taking my car into swap. Once it was ready it only took less than 2 hours to remove and install the new hood. I checked my daughters car before we bought it to ensure it did not have this same problem. However I have seen other CRV's with this same issue!"

    Anonymous, TX (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"The hood moved up a down on the latch and sheet metal flexed while driving at highway speeds and the welds broke underneath. It appears I should have addressed this right after buying the car to enable a repair perhaps vs replacement at 36k miles."

    Anonymous, GA (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

Battery was replaced with AGM 680 CCA purchased at AutoZone on a Saturday afternoon. Honda reimbursed me fully for the battery claim. The entire process required 2 1/2 months to receive the check by mail."

    Anonymous A., IL (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
