David W., OH (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Almost too powerful - easy to spin wheels while starting from a complete stop. Other than that - it's GREAT!"

Anonymous, KY (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"I have to acknowledge the great reputation of Honda Odyssey of driving experience, as it does drive great!! Even comparable to a regular sedan! I had a Dodge Caravan before and the aero-dynamic is way worse. You won't even feel the wind effect even when I drive over 80mph. Great handling that give the drive the confidence of safety."

Billy C., OH (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Smooth, strong engine and transmission. Handles like a sedan. Great driving position. It's even good in snow. The designers got everything right in this minivan."

Anonymous, WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"it accelerate very well and the handling is good as well"

Anonymous, CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

Anonymous, TX (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Has good power and cornering for a minivan. Easy to merge and accelerate in traffic."

William W., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

Anonymous, NC (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"very responsive fora mini van"

Anonymous, WI (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"For a mini-van, the car handles very well. With the 5 speed auto trans, it has plenty of acceleration when needed."

Anonymous, CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The Odyssey drives more like a car than minivan. The 3.5 V6 engine gives more than sufficient power and deals with packed vacation gear and bikes with ease. The handling is very good, but as the minivan is not a sports car, when pushed towards the limits, the weight shows and the brakes show fade quickly. This is more an issue on the higher speed limit roads in the south and west of the US."

Anonymous, MD (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"it moves when you want it too, with excellent fuel economy."

Patrick R., MI (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Braking on this van has always been not so great. It has a soft brake and takes slightly more time to stop"

"It is big, fun to drive, yet highly maneuverable--wonderful turning radius to get in and out easily of tight spots. It is quick and smooth. The engine is quiet with no delays or hesitations on the highway. We have owned lots of cars over the past 55 years. The is best one we ever had."

Anonymous, GA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Our Odyssey performs exceedingly well with excellent acceleration and handling."

Jerry G., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This motor pulls hard and can leave the anti-minivan folks in the dust if it needs to. Handing is very good for such a large vehicle. It is really a pleasure to drive. We will keep it until the wheels fall off because it's such a good vehicle."

Mark C., TX (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"handling great, acceleration is good"

Richard G., CO (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"A little difficult to park."

Anonymous, IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Excellent acceleration from the V6. Excellent handling on the highway. This is my family's primary vehicle for long distance road trips."

Kenneth S., VA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The minivan drives like a powerful full-size sedan. The turns are surprisingly stable, possibly due to its wide stance. Power is there on tap whenever needed, never feels like it is struggling to muster energy."

Swami S., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Good smooth acceleration plenty of power. Quite."

Anonymous, MD (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Easy handling."

Anonymous, IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Gas mileage to power ratio is ridiculously good."

Steven S., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The Odyssey out accelerates my 2014 Ford Fusion with the 1.5 liter engine. It does not feel like you are driving a minivan, except for the high seating position."

Paul S., PA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Over the years of use, the engine has been always strong, good acceleration, and works solid."

Forest R., FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The van feels very secure and peppy, which has not changed as it ages"

Tom C., MB (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"It has very good acceleration and handling. The engine is plenty big enough to spin the wheels if you turn off the ESC. It corners well and while not a sports car, it is easy to control."

"Excellent driving and handling. Quiet transmission Heavy auto but handles very well"

Anonymous, NY (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Eudes much more like a car that like a van or small tuck. Accleratio is fine at highway speeds."

Stephen C., CT (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"My Honda Odyssey has been a superb driving and handling vehicle considering it is a minivan. I have had for Chrysler Town & Country vehicles prior to the Honda. None of them had the acceleration of the Honda. Secondly none of them had the reliability and longevity of the Honda. And finally the comfort of not having to worry about a vehicle even after driving it for well over a hundred seventy thousand miles is super."

Andrew M., IN (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Acceleration good handles well"

Ronnie M., MO (2007 Honda Odyssey)

What Owners Say

"There is a good bit of road noise"

HARRISON A., AL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Too much road noise. Lack of support on seats."

Anonymous, VA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Road noise is very bad. I wear hearing aids and the noise level is loud enough to activate the auto shut off of the aids even on a high setting. Will not buy another Honda until the noise problem is solved."

BILL H., AR (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The van is very loud to drive on the highway and the driver's seat is not that comfortable. Hard to get the armrests just right."

"You sit up high in captain type seats and you are very comfortable"

ROBERT R., AZ (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Ride is good, but road noise seems rather loud and a lot of vibration is felt in the steering wheel."

LAWRENCE W., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The front seats are especially uncomfortable, so much so that they cause pain on rides over about a half hour. The climate controls are not intuitive, inconsistent, and all around difficult to use and require more visual attention to operate than is safe for the driver to expend."

PETER M., CO (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"It's very smooth on the road. Lots of wind noise. The lower dash area on the driver's side is low so it's easy to hit my knees when getting in or out of the car."

KYM L., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Disappointed that the A/C became a problem. Apparently, this was a wide spread problem with many years of this and other Honda models."

LARRY W., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The vehicle is well made. The leather seats are comfortable. The run-flat tires are a little stiff and I would have changed them if it weren't for the fact that the warning system for Tire Pressure couldn't be turned off."

JAMES S., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The EX-L's leather seats are very comfortable and held up very well in both support and finish over the past 9 years. The ride noise/comfort is good but is also dependent on the quality of the tires."

Anonymous, PA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Head room, cabin width, ease of entry and exit. climate control is very good."

"There is a significant amounts not of road noise. We wish the cabin was quieter. The ride is why wonderful."

NED B., IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Don't like the shelf between the two front seats. Clock..can't read, too small & far away. Seats uncomfortable. When seats are reclined I can't be comfortable as the lower part of the seat back is like a hump & protrudes into your back. Road noise inside cabin too much to talk over comfortably at highway speeds."

"All good"

RICHARD W., CO (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"seat leather broke down in a year along the side of the seat cushion. Only so so comfort for long distance driving. Climate controls are badly positioned and not intuitive making you take your eyes off the road for dangerous amounts of time. To change climate mode you have to lean across. After owning it for 9 years and driving it daily I still can't change the climate controls easily. Very noisy at hyw. speeds lots of wind and vibration noise."

Anonymous, AB (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"seats are very comfortable but the road noise is high"

Anonymous, CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The interior is somewhat noisy relative to its competitors (especially the Toyota Sienna of the same model year, which I test drove at the time). This was exactly as predicted by CR's minivan reviews, and something I was / am still willing to put up with for better handling."

KEVIN C., ON (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"easy to get in and out of -- much easier than my other Odyssey a 2014. Drivers seat very comfortable -- much more so than the 2014"

Werner S., PA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The seats in the Hondy Odyssey is one of the primary reasons we purchased this vehicle over the two other minivans we test drove - The Nissan (which we had previously owned) and the Toyota. There was simply no comparison to how comfortable the interior felt. In terms of the test drive, both the Honda and Toyota seemed to be similar, however we felt the Honda was more quiet. The comfort level was the deciding factor."

Kenneth R., GA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The vehicle is still incredibly solid with little wind noise and is devoid of rattles and squeaks. The driving position is very comfortable and there is ample legroom in all three rows. It's not as forgiving as I would like on rough road surfaces, but still enjoyable overall."

David W., OH (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The seats are comfortable on long road trips due to the ability to adjust the backs for sleep position. The noise is comparable to wear and tear on the vehicle in relation to the type of road conditions that we deal with, which are definitely not vehicle friendly. The ride on the open road is still excellent in spite of the number of miles and age of the vehicle."

Anonymous, TX (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"I am quite short, under 5', and have arthritis. We purchased this mini-van because it is quite adaptable to someone short like myself and taller like my husband. It is easy to handle and has good visibility for someone my height with some disability issues. I really like this vehicle."

H S., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The ride of the Odyssey was the main selling point. For such a large and relatively heavy minivan, it drives like a car. The seats have held up after 11 years and are still comfortable in 2000 mile trips up and down the East Coast of the US."

Anonymous, MD (2007 Honda Odyssey)

It's not just good for long road trips which can take all of our luggages plus a cooler and stroller, car seats etc. But also great for everyday use as it does not use more gas than a regular V6 sedan. "No the problem I had with the Odyssey is the engine #5 cylinder burns up the spark plug and it drops down into the engine and ruins the piston and cylinder head and it is always on #5 cylinder. Only had 64500 miles on car, asked Honda to fix it they said they know of any engine problem told them the internet is full of that problem on years 2005 through 2010 and it is always on # 5 cylinder. No help from Honda, told me repair charge would be $12500.00, used carmanager said he would give us $1500..."

"I've taken a couple long trips in this vehicle and the seats are comfortable. The heating and cooling work just fine and there seems to be enough side bolstering for the type of driving I do. The only negative about the comfort of the seats is that they do not rise sufficiently. I am only 5 foot 7 inches tall and with the seats not Rising much it does tend to inhibit viewing. "Very comfortable to drive, heated seats work well. Can be a little noisy at higher speeds, kind of disappointing for a touring model. Easy to drive and comfortable on the road."

Robert E., OH (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This van just keeps going and going. I do minimal maintenance to it but it is the most reliable vehicle l have ever owned"

"Keep up on maintenance. Use a reliable mechanic."

KATHLEEN W., IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Bought it used for $6,500. Acceptab;e value for the price."

ELLIOTT P., ME (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"I hardly spent any money on it other than the regular service for the first 8 years"

Anonymous, IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Trouble free after 117,000 mile. So low cost of maintenance, except for timing belt replacement which is done at 100,000 miles."

GARY L., MD (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"good value"

JORGE S., FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"easy to get in or out, great sized automobile"

BENJAMIN W., WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Maintenance costs increased significantly in year 8. We started to have electrical issues at just over 100,000 miles. Alternator has been replaced, and starter, and neutral safety switch. Ignition coil is next (key sometimes won't come out of ignition)."

Anonymous, FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This vehicle has had a hard life, but it just keeps going."

Anonymous, OR (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"For the original and operation costs points of view, excellent ride and minimal maintenance impact. New Honda dealership now nearby which simply adds to the experience and value perspectives."

"oRIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERY POOR QUALITY, REQUIRED FREQUENT REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRENTY"

Anonymous, WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The car had run-flat tires. They cannot be repaired and cost $260 each to replace. I had to replace 10 tires within the first 3 years of owning the car. It cost me over $200 to replace the run-flat wheels with normal wheels and tires. The rear doors do not work well and I have spent over $2000 trying to get them repaired. The paint job was extremely poor."

DAVID D., KS (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Judging by resale value and our satisfaction, we are pleased with the vehicle and are grateful for the trouble-free service we have had for over 9 years"

Anonymous, FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"After 160,000 miles there is no rust on the vehicle and I live in Minnesota.. I have had no major mechanical failures other than brakes, tires and normal, scheduled maintenance. This is also the most comfortable riding van or SUV I've been in - and I driven most of them."

"lots of seating, good hauling abilities for long objects, rear wells for groceries holding."

Ray R., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Absolutely excellent. Replaced the ac compressor and have had brake work done due to routine and heavy use and road conditions. Otherwise just routine maintenance."

Anonymous, TX (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"After 10+ years, the Odessey remains reliable and functional. Our previous model (1999) was likewise reliable but had a few recurring problems (eg, automatic doors) which were reduced with manual doors. There have been a number of troubling recalls with the 2007. One involved brakes failing while in motion. Honda/NHTSA took a very casual (and dangerous) approach to resolving this serious problem. This involved initial denial, then slow-walking the resolution. UNFORGIVEABLE!!"

Stephen E., MA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"We still like it a lot. Very few repairs. Carries a lot of stuff."

A F., MI (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"from day one this vehicle has been the most versatile of any of the 15 vehicles that i have owned"

Stephen H., OR (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"It’s large capacity to hold people and haul things. Otherwise, it has aged too quickly and we have had to dump way to much money into it just to keep it running."

Anonymous, WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This is a great car and very functional. I bought the top model and hate the "run flat" tires. They are hard riding, noisy and very expensive. Will require about $1,500 to replace as must change rims also, and then must buy tiny tire as no place for spare. I will never buy "run flat" tires again. Other than that, car itself is nearly perfect."

Allen P., WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Car is 11 years old and is still reliable."

Jerry L., FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The Odyssey has been incredibly dependable. We've driven it all over the place and it hasn't stranded us once. Only 11 years after purchase has it finally started showing a little rust. And the only time the battery has died has been because we left something on."

Thomas G., MI (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"has been very reliable, longest millage vehicle that I have ever had"

"The great value for the total cost."

Anonymous, CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

Anonymous, FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"I feel we got more than we paid for in terms of quality It's repairs have been less than expected."

George M., AZ (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Excellent luggage space, great second and third row seating comfort, good mileage for a van and very few issue with the car after 11 years and 140,000 miles. Even though I'm an empty nester my next car will be an Odyssey due to convenience, comfort driving, and luggage capacity. My biggest disappointment with all the new vans is the removal of the top rack for our kayaks and cargo carrier."

Kathy M., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"My most important requirement: Reliability. At a competitive price"

Anonymous, FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"After 11 years and 150,000 miles, the Odyssey is still a pleasure to drive, everything works, never a breakdown and minimal maintenance issues. Amazingly practical and reliable vehicle."

Anonymous, UT (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Although it is a very low mileage vehicle I continue to get quality comfort and performance from my Odyssey."

Michael G., CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Also fairly priced, generally dependable, and an excellent vehicle for transporting large volumes of naterial."

James K., PA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Owned this for ten years, been paid off for five, and with basic maintenance it's still running like Day 1!"

Anonymous, WA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"After 155,000 miles our Odyssey is still driving great. Over 10 years of shuttling our family around. Overall has been a great car."

Brian M., NC (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"410000 and still going is enough detail on the value of the Odyssey"

Anonymous, ON (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Plan on spending a considerable amount of money on the engine."

Robert W., NC (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This is probably the best car from a value perspective we've ever bought. Mechanically bullet proof, Interior has held up incredibly well to the abuse of 3 kids and a dog. Leather is still in great condition, and DVD/Nav and all electronics have proven 100% reliable. The only issue, covered under warranty was a hydraulic engine mount that went bad around 80K miles, but you couldn't feel it in the driving so I was surprised when they changed it out."

Anonymous, CA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Less repair very stable car and excellent drive. I love the handling and the engine is robust."

Aliou N., NJ (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"No failures over 10 years, normal maintenance, average gas mileage, and still looks like new. That is great value."

Anonymous, MN (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Very dependable and functional vehicle for family with kids. Very comfortable with loads of room and great driving and handling for long trips or just around town. Love the turning radius."

Leslie S., OH (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Capacious rear area. Good AC, including rear cargo area (used for "dog show/trial van"). Extremely good handling/riding on highway. Good in city, just a bit big in small towns, narrow streets, etc. Fairly good mileage for its size. Never given any problem with any mechanical area."

Anonymous, NC (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Amazing design adapts to all our needs for large family! Then can be reconfigured to haul all our cargo!"

Debbie D., AZ (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"It is MOSTLY (not always) trouble free."

Anonymous, IL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"The body style of this model is more compact than the current 2017 model. The gas mileage has surprised me getting 22-24 mph on the highway for a 10 year old car. The rear visibility is also a plus versus current more streamline vehicles."

Gary W., FL (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Did noi get many bells and whistes. Got a good price and it rides and handles as well as more expensive trim and accessory models"

Stephen C., CT (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"in more than 55 years of driving, and more than 20 vehicles--from pickups to sub-compacts, suburbans and sedans, and jeeps and sport models--this vehicle is hands-down by far the most versatile and useful by far...short of off-roading and major towing, there is nothing that can not be accomplished."

Stephen H., OR (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Best value for a family vehicle. Carries a lot and you can arrange the seats to hold lots of stuff and large objects."

Michael M., NJ (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Solid, cavernous vehicle. Too bad it's not electric drive."

Thomas D., MA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"This van was a very good value for its practicality, overall comfort and reliability"

Anonymous, VA (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Great vehicle, probably the most practical vehicle we have ever owned. Great for traveling across the country, carrying cargo or going to the grocery store. It handles like a car but has the hauling capacity of a truck."

Anonymous, TX (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"Great van for the money trouble free"

Ronnie M., MO (2007 Honda Odyssey)

"It has a large load capacity. Rear seats somewhat hard to remove."
