    Honda Odyssey Road Test

    Introduction

    The redesigned Odyssey topped our minivan ratings, although this iteration of the Odyssey traded away some of the previous generation's crisp handling qualities for a more comfortable ride. The cabin is noticeably quieter too, although some road noise persists. The jazzier exterior styling reduced cargo space by a smidgen, but rear seating is generous and easy to access. One significant flaw the unimpressive grip, which limits handling in emergency situations. While ultimately secure, Odyssey gives up early when pushed to its limits. A rear-view camera is standard on all trim lines.

    All Odysseys come fairly well equipped. Honda offers few standalone options, so if you want some of the nicer features you may need to get a higher, and sometimes much costlier, trim line.
