What Owners Say
"May 2022. Compressor was broken. Would cost about $1000 to replace. Decided a 19 year old truck was not worth it."
Anonymous A., NY (2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS 3.5-L V6)"Husband needed to replace . The air conditioning was not working properly. I don't know exactly what he replaced. He did jerry rig the a/c on our way home from AZ once using ice and ?"
Anonymous, CA (2006 Honda Ridgeline Unsure 3.5-L V6)""The compressor made a grinding noise a few weeks ago, and the ac stopped working. I had a mechanic replace the compressor, and the ac now works fine.""
Anonymous, FL (2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL 3.5-L V6)"Problems with blower motor going out. AC door actuators have been replaced for both driver and passenger side vents. Problems have occurred over past 4 years annually. Very hot air is constant from vent when problem occurs."
Anonymous, CA (2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL 3.5-L V6)"After 300K+ miles the AC clutch died on the hottest day of the year here in the desert. The part (after market) is only $60, but the pavement has been too hot to do the work! I have the tools, but I don't have the shade, and with the pavement at 140+ and atmosphere 115+ degrees, I'll wait until the middle of the night to replace it and bother my neighbors."
Anonymous A., CA (2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL 3.5-L V6)""Every summer we have to add refrigerant, this solves the problem""
