    Climate System

A week to get the part and two days to install a new condenser. The car was purchased off the floor with the leak. The car was in for repair within a month of purchasing the car."

    Heater system

""Car would only blow cold air regardless of temperature setting. Coolant temp gage stayed near the cold mark. Took dealership six visits to diagnose and correct the problem, which turned out to be a bad ITMS module (which is what this vehicle uses instead of a traditional thermostat). From the very first visit, my suspicion was a bad thermostat. Dealer said this vehicle doesn't have a traditional thermostat, it has an ITMS module, which they claimed was working normally. They claimed that it was not giving a check engine code, so it could not be the issue. After an additional 5 visits to unsuccessfully diagnose the issue they eventually concluded that it was indeed the ITMS and it was replaced under warranty, and the heater has been working perfectly ever since.""

Anonymous, NB (2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

    What Owners Say

Fuel door or charge port door

"After a few months of owning this car the fuel door gets stuck and will not open. Since this door is made of plastic i need to gently pull on it to open it so it would not break off the plastic hinge which is connected to it."

Anonymous, FL (2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Locks and latches

"Frequently when i want to open my locked two front doors and i pull on the door handles the door is programmed to unlock. Too often when i pull on the two front door handles the doors do not unlock. When this happens i need to pull out my key fob and press the door unlock button. This is a major inconvenience especially when my hands are holding heavy items. No excuse why Hyundai can't fix this issue."

Anonymous, FL (2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Other body problem

"Seat cushion itself sunk and was rumpled. Replace under warranty"

Anonymous A., AZ (2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Sunroof

""Driving on open road at about 60 mph the glass in the sunroof exploded. A loud explosion like wed been hit by a large rock on the sun roof. I pulled the car over, got out and looked at the sunroof. There is a 1 x 1.5 in the sunroof. Nothing had hit us as we were in open road and flat terrain. The glass just exploded. The repair was replacement of the sunroof and touch-up of the paint on the roof where the glass blown off had scraped it.""

""While driving the car would shudder and a lot ot the lights on the dashboard would be displayed and the engine would race. Took it to the dealer they inspected and determine the transmission needed to be replaced. The transmission was replaced, and I drove it for a couple of days. I experienced a problem when accelerating from a slow speed or stop of the engine racing and shuddering. Took it back to the deal and they found a plug that was not properly seated. The car seems OK, but there is still some odd surging when going up steeper inclines.""
