Infiniti's QX50 dates back to 2008, when it was known as the EX. The current model has a 3-inch-longer wheelbase, which grants more than 4 additional inches to rear-seat leg room. But underneath it's still essentially a raised-wagon version of the old G37 sedan, a car we liked very much at the time for its quickness, agility, and composed ride.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Love that the passenger seats can also be raised/lowered and adjusted"

Brigitte G., ON (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"The seats are high enough to see out of the front window. They are fairly supportive, but could stand a little more cushioning. Since this is a 4 wheel drive, it is a firm ride and one can feel uneven pavement and bumps in the road. Noise level when windows are closed is great."

Kathleen B., NY (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"excellent seats"

Anonymous, CA (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"Engine is loud and a little rough compared to other cross overs we have drive . Interior comfort is great"

"We bought the QX50 with long driving trips in mind. It has very comfortable seats and since the car was lengthened in 2017 the rear seats have plenty of leg room."

Don S., TX (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"Door pockets too narrow to make good use of. Back seat ride fair only, too rough"

Karen D., CO (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"seat is comfortable and the ride is sporty"

Mike T., MA (2017 Infiniti QX50)

Value

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"Great value....when cross shopping this against others in the class it had the most features - particularly in diving tech.....at by far the lowest cost. It has had a 360 degree camera since 2008....in many other brands you have to go to the largest suv or the most expensive trim to get this....for double the vehicle cost"

Anonymous, CA (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"Not for publication in any media. beautiful suv, but too expensive for what you get with the basic model. NOTE- we do NOT own a smartphone."

Anonymous, NY (2017 Infiniti QX50)

"It is a sports car disguised as a small suv"

David D., IL (2017 Infiniti QX50)
