Introduction
The 2027 Infiniti QX65 Is a Luxe, Coupelike Version of the QX60
This upscale two-row midsized SUV uses the same engine and dashboard layout in a sportier-looking bodyOverview
If you’ve been longing for an Infiniti QX60 with a sleeker body reminiscent of the FX, the QX65 is here to make your day. New for the 2027 model year, the QX65 carries over its powertrain and much of its interior from the redesigned-for-2026 QX60, but it pares down the seating to just two rows and adds a sloping, coupelike roofline.
Under the hood is the same 268-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the QX60, which is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Positioned as a sportier, higher-optioned model, the QX65 is offered only with all-wheel drive. For the QX65, Infiniti made some of the QX60’s premium features standard and doubled down on luxurious appointments, such as noise-canceling technology and the available Sunfire Red paint that includes actual gold-coated glass flakes.
While Infiniti says the QX65’s transmission and throttle response were tuned more aggressively for better acceleration, we expect the overall experience to be much like that of the past-generation QX60 we tested: a generally competent luxury SUV that’s geared more toward comfort than corner carving. (The QX60 received a redesign in 2026, and we have yet to test that version.)
The Infiniti QX65 is offered in three grades: Luxe ($53,990), Sport ($55,690), and Autograph ($62,590). In addition, destination charge is $1,545.
The Luxe serves as the base model, featuring dual 12.3-inch screens for the driver’s information display and the infotainment touchscreen, heated eight-way power front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, an 11-speaker audio system, and a panoramic sunroof.
Sport adds a 16-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, a surround view camera, black trim elements, and black wheels.
The top Autograph trim is the most luxurious, taking all but the black trim from the Sport model and adding a 20-speaker audio system, a head-up display, massaging front seats, heated rear seats, a motion-activated power liftgate, 21-inch wheels, and quilted, perforated leather seats.
The Infiniti QX65 competes with the BMW X6, Genesis GV80 Coupe, Infiniti QX60, Lexus RX, Lincoln Nautilus, and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
The powertrain is a 268-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine; nine-speed automatic transmission; and all-wheel drive.
It goes on sale early summer 2026.
