What Owners Say
"Excellent handling and acceleration"
Anonymous, GA (2014 Lexus GS)"Perfect balance of power and economy. Always enough power to pass especially in sport mode and good fuel economy while highway cruising (25mpg aver this year). V6 is not as entertaining as an Infiniti G37 V6 but gets better mpg."
David J., CA (2014 Lexus GS)"It has the perfect blend of acceleration and passing speed. It does not handle like a sports car, but it handles confidently so that I never worry in any situation. he short turning radius is fantastic for getting into and out of spots. The size is ideal, neither too big nor too small"
Stephen D., FL (2014 Lexus GS)"A little sluggish but it drives just fine"
Anonymous, FL (2014 Lexus GS)"Very fast, fantastic control, sort comfortable"
Anonymous, WA (2014 Lexus GS)"The acceleration and handling is what sold me on this car. It has great value."
Anonymous, NC (2014 Lexus GS)"Good handling but poor mileage"
Anonymous, CA (2014 Lexus GS)"Great acceleration, great ride,AWD for bad weather, loooks great , fully loaded with options, very little wind noise& worth the money spent."
Anonymous, IL (2014 Lexus GS)"Handling is very good without sacrificing ride comfort. Acceleration is acceptable but not as good as competing models from other manufacturers. AWD system is excellent in all condtions."
Anonymous, ON (2014 Lexus GS)"Awesome acceleration. Drives like a dream."
Scott W., TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Great acceleration with terrific handling. Fun to drive."
Anonymous, TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Powerful, fast, secure, handling, ride, manual performance adjustments."
Anonymous, CA (2014 Lexus GS)"Nice car handles great with options & is quick"
Kathleen W., OR (2014 Lexus GS)"Accelleration is excellent. Handling is excellent."
Michael G., CA (2014 Lexus GS)"All wheel drive gives a secure feel even in rainy conditions."
Anonymous, TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Seems tight and controlled when driving"
Anonymous, TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Acceleration is very good. Handling is excellent. There is a slight lag when accelerating, but not enough to be an issue. Still wish Lexus/Toyota would offer V8 engine."
Michael G., TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Extremely powerful and responsive acceleration and handling."
Victor A., CA (2014 Lexus GS)"The car is very responsive when you push the accelerator and is very quick to respond to steering changes."
H O., SC (2014 Lexus GS)"Drives very well. Very smooth operation. Good acceleration, handling at speed and braking. What more do you need. Fuel milage (requires premium) could be better."
Anonymous, NE (2014 Lexus GS)"My Lexus GS is the F sport model. It is designed for the drive enthusiast. The handling is very tight in the "sport" mode, which I use all of the time. The gearing is lower and the acceleration is exhilarating."
Anonymous, PA (2014 Lexus GS)"For the price, 60k, I think there should be more power. A lot of cheaper sedans offer more. Handling is top notch and sport plus mode really makes it engaging. It handles much better than the 5 series or E class, as I drove both."
Anonymous, MI (2014 Lexus GS)"Handles wells, seats need to be more comfortable on long trips (8 - 12 hours). Navigation and voice system should have updates after six months and continue to be updated for years."
Anonymous, AZ (2014 Lexus GS)"Handles and accelerates like a sports car"
Anonymous, NY (2014 Lexus GS)"Has the power that I wanted. Great acceleration."
JANE S., TX (2014 Lexus GS)""F" option. Very responsive auto."
Anonymous, FL (2014 Lexus GS)"Although replaced when it recalled, the electronic throttle control, in contrast to early years mechanical ones, it way too sensitive. It remains as a major irritant to driving pleasure."
GARY B., VA (2014 Lexus GS)"This vehicle should have had the option of a V8 Six cylinder is barely OK"
BUD R., WA (2014 Lexus GS)"Accelerates well and handles well."
T N., PA (2014 Lexus GS)"Handles tight and responsive because of the firmer suspension on the F Sport model. And the bigger tires. However the downside is more tire noise and a bumpier ride for a luxury car. Feels more like a M2 than a GS350"
David L., TX (2014 Lexus GS)"Acceleration is competitive, but engine needs to be revved to get ready response. The six-speed automatic transmission is sometimes slow and reluctant to respond, resulting in some additional downshifts when attempting a two-lane pass, for instance. Refinement could be better. Handling is quite good, but steering feels a bit soft, it could use a bit more precision on initial turn-in, but it still is very good."
James K., PA (2014 Lexus GS)"Great acceleration and handling, with sporty engine sound in the cabin."
Anonymous, MN (2014 Lexus GS)
"The car handle the road really well. I could drive around the world with the acceleration and the handling."
Anonymous, TX (2014 Lexus GS)
