    Lexus TX Hybrid

    Latest Model

    2024 Model Redesign Year
Lexus's all-new TX is a three-row SUV that's based on the Toyota Grand Highlander. Sized a notch up from the RX, the TX comes with two main powertrains: a 275-hp turbo four-cylinder in the TX350, and a smooth and powerful 366-hp turbo four-cylinder hybrid in the 500h F Sport. A 404-hp, V6 plug-in hybrid with an EPA-estimated 33 miles of electric-only range is also available. All-wheel drive is standard. We found that the TX500h possesses some handling agility, and even though the ride skews firm, it's steady and controlled. The TX350 is more mundane through corners but is still a highly functional and luxurious vehicle.
The TX has spacious accommodations for all three rows and tremendous cargo-toting abilities when the third row is folded. It's available with either a second-row bench seat (7 passenger) or captain's chairs for a six-seat capacity.

    2024-Present

    2024 Model Redesign Year
Lexus is filling a big hole in its SUV line with the all-new TX, a three-row model that shares its dimensions and many mechanical bits with the new Toyota Grand Highlander. The TX hybrid comes with a punchy 366-hp turbo 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid, with an estimated 27 mpg combined. A 404-hp V6 plug-in hybrid with 33 miles of electric-only range is also available. Our 500h F-Sport is taut and agile, giving it some athletic chops. The ride is steady, composed and absorbent even on 22-inch tires. Transitions between electric and gas propulsion are seamless.
The cabin is luxurious and the seats are form-fitting and supportive. Unfortunately, the gear selector and interior door handles are unintuitive. Accommodations are spacious for all three rows. The power folding third row is handy. The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 bundles a full suite of active safety and driver assistance features, including LCA, ACC, and auto lane change.
