The five-passenger MKX, based on the Ford Edge, replaced the Aviator in Lincoln’s lineup. Overall, we found the MKX doesn't stand out enough from the Edge, or offer enough additional features to justify the price premium. It doesn't offer a third-row seat, its engine and transmission lack the refinement of other competitors, and its handling is not agile.

Acceleration Acceleration Acceleration tests are conducted on a smooth, flat pavement straightaway at the track. Time, speed, and distance measurements are taken with a precise GPS-based device that’s hooked to a data-logging computer.
