The Mazda2 is a fun to drive runabout with excellent fuel economy, responsive steering and a usable rear seat -- despite the car's modest dimensions. Models with the automatic transmission can be rather slow. The standard manual transmission's slick shifter contributes to an enjoyable driving experience.
