With the redesigned CX-5, Mazda retained most of the sporty handling that made the first-generation enjoyable, but the SUV is much more mature now with vastly improved ride comfort, noise isolation, and interior quality. It's one of the more desirable models in the compact SUV class. Unlike purely rational choices like the Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester, there’s a bit of joie de vivre with the CX-5.

What Owners Say

"the vehicle responds well and is outstanding to drive"

Anonymous, VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The warning system, auto braking and blind spot warnings are life-savers!"

Pat C., ME (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handles like German cars. Hugs road. Responsive turning. Accelerates well, no hesitation.Light on its feet."

Anonymous, WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"All good: styling, comfort, safety features, quietness and hand, into. The only negative is that the slanted rear window cuts down on trunk space."

Anonymous, CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It is very prime on start"

Jacques P., QC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"For the size of the engine, the car is very responsive and handles great."

Anonymous, GA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Engine is very responsive to the accelerator pedal, but power is only adequate for leisurely driving. Passing power on the highway is mediocre. Car needs more low end torque. Handling and steering is very good for this class of car, although suspension lacks sufficient control through high speed curves."

Anonymous, VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"quit responsive , handling are all outstanding."

Frank Z., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Mazda has a reputation for good handling. I would not say that it handles like a sports car. I would say that it has a very smooth ride. I find it to be stable and reliable. I am very satisfied with the way it drives. I have to say that I think it rides and handles better than the 2014 Subaru Forester that I owned before this Mazda."

Anonymous, NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent handling while driving the mountain roads where I live each day, never feel any drift and very responsive in all ways."

Laura H., CA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The 2017 CX-5 does not have a CVT transmission which helps tremendously in how it performs."

Marcin K., MO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Drives like a car. You won't get the SUV driving feel. I can take a sharp corner at a normal speed and no rollover."

Shahram R., BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Accelerates well and handles very well"

Anonymous, OK (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Great handling especially in rainy conditions. While other cars were hydroplaning the vehicle was very sure footed."

Anthony D., SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very comfortable and good gas mileage"

Anonymous, SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The pick up and Zoom-Zoom appeal is great"

Alex B., SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Acceleration is adequate, could use more horsepower. G-vectoring is interesting, would prefer an "off" switch to enhance cornering without dumbing down throttle response. Like the step transmission and manual down/up shifting is snappy. Could use one additional gear between 1 and 2."

Robert S., UT (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very satisfied with driving dynamics"

Frank R., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It holds the road through acceleration and turns better than expected."

John S., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The transmission is extremely smooth and the engine has great torque off the line. The car absorbs bumps cleanly. The car is a pleasure to drive."

Anonymous, IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The acceleration is quite brisk and the car handles quite well. It is not the fastest car on the road but it is after all a relatively small engine. It is quiet and comfortable"

Elsa W., CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The handling is excellent! I love driving my CX5. However, the acceleration is somewhat lacking at times. Our former car was a 6 cylinder and I have to remind myself that this is a 4 cylinder. Generally speaking, acceleration is good."

Linda H., PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"very smooth and quiet, great pick up."

Perryanne C., VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Runs & handles great. Zoom Zoom."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"handles surprisingly well. is more quiet than I thought it would be"

Anonymous, CA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The convenient back-up camera; the ride stabilization; the notification of oncoming vehicles, the hatch-closing button on the hatch."

Anonymous, MA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Responsive handling for a SUV, good acceleration, fun to drive."

Anonymous, CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent handling. Has an agile sporty feel."

Anonymous, TN (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I test drove the CX-5 and the CR-V. The CX-5 was so much more fun to drive. I feel CR needs to place more emphasis on fun/enjoyment."

Anonymous, OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Looks like a crossover, drives like a racing car."

Anonymous, VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handles very well - ride rather sporty"

Leon C., MO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Not the fastest car on the block but responsive enough to be considered sporty."

Tim W., MI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very enjoyable to drive. Responsive, great safety features, blind spot, collision avoidance"

Anonymous, FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"this Mazda is fun to drive"

Steve H., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"very responsive, handles curves well"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It responds instantly when accelerating, it turns on a dime, and the steering is tight which we like; there is not a lot of play in the steering wheel."

Linda M., AL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"acceleration and handling if you need to pass"

William K., BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"very good acceleration and handling feel confident with both"

Anonymous, ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Perhaps this is not the correct place for this comment, but I truly love Mazda’s Active Driving Display. This feature that projects current speed, approaching stop signs, cruise control settings, navigation info, speed limits, land departure indication, proximity to vehicles ahead and blind spot warnings, on a small area of the windshield, visible only to the driver, allows me to never have to take my eyes off the road. For this feature alone, I may buy a Mazda 6 as a replacement for my Honda Civic within the next year."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The vehicle is slow and would be improved with more power. Handling is good but not great."

Anonymous, IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"When you floor the vehicle it makes a wonderful sound. In my hometown there is a 20 miles stretch of road with a 55 mph speedlimit that is very twisty with a lot of hills. I have had the vehicle Trippodding at 60 mph in some of the hard corners. And the manual shifting is so nice, no lag like some other brands. It is no slouch and does what you want. Except for slowing down (as it is heavier) it feels exactly like my 2011 Ford Focus."

Anthony S., WI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"good acceleration and handling."

William F., MO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I don’t think the acceleration is very smooth. Once you get going on the highway all is good but I do mostly city driving."

Anonymous, MD (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Poor acceleration."

Anonymous, IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"This is a SUV that handles like a sports care and offer great acceleration with its all-wheel drive."

Anonymous, MD (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Love heads-up display. But engine is smaller for an AWD SUV. Noisy acceleration, highway noise is v noticeable compared to 9 year old 2009 Venza."

Anonymous, ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The car corners well and the ride is firm without Being giggly"

Anonymous, NS (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Fun to drive. Low noise level. Handling is great. Good safety features."

Anonymous, AZ (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"For an SUV it doesn't feel like one. Nice cornering and decent acceleration both for around town or merging into highway traffic."

David G., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handles nice but still under powered."

Anonymous, PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It has great torque and pickup..........handles good in snow"

Paul P., OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Great"

Jan L., NT (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Accelerates well and handles like a nimble car rather than an SUV."

Halvor A., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I love this car! It is fun to drive. The handling and acceleration are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the acceleration in particular since my previous car was a 6 cylinder. I really don't have anything negative to say about this car."

Anonymous, SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"great torque"

Anonymous, IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handling is great for a SUV but does not compare to my Miata :-)"

Brian W., NS (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"We love to drive this car"

Anonymous, NJ (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handling is great. I like the blindside warning and backup warning system."

Anonymous, CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Has excellent acceleration, especially in the sport mode. Handles great on highway and corners"

Anonymous, NS (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Put this on previous page, thinking comments weren’t available. Biggest plus are many safety features. But car handles very well; good acceleration. Brakes. Cornering. Quiet. Smooth transmission."

Michael G., SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It could use 50 more Horses, but using the his & her shifter. Makes it acceptable. The handling is what sold us, we hated every CVT based SUV we tried."

Anonymous, NJ (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Acceleration is not exceptional, but it feels right. The engine and transmission are paired exceptionally well. There is none of the disconnect one feels from a CVT. The transmission is so responsive that you do not miss having a standard transmission."

Anonymous, WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"it accelerates briskly, but quiet and wonderful smooth, but quick, shifts. It handles like a luxury go-cart"

Ross S., ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very responsive handling, comfortable ride, and quiet."

Anonymous, ME (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Acceleration and handling is very good."

Anonymous, NH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent handling. Good acceleration but could be better. Handled well in recent highway mountain driving"

Faye M., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I've had several Mazda's over the years and their slogan used to be "It Just Feels Right" and that describes this vehicle perfectly. Effortless, intuitive, and fun to drive. Handling that inspires confidence. Plenty zippy with a lot of low end torque."

John F., IA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Ride and handling"

Andrew C., CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"acceleration is quick and quite adequate. Handling is a blast (fun)"

Paul P., IN (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handles great, drives quiet and absorbs bumps but could use a bit more power."

Jeff F., ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The acceleration has no lag like a turbo would have. The steering in corners give confidence to the driver as the computer adjusts the engine so corrections are minized."

John B., PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"We love the cruise control, the front window mph display and the over-all control and handling. For the size of engine and little use of gas, it has great pick up."

Lisbeth B., NC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Needs more power (like another 50 HP min)."

Anonymous, BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very nimble and easy to drive. Quick enough for freeway acceleration."

Anonymous, VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handling is very good. Great turns. Acceleration could be somewhat faster but is adequate."

Anonymous, OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Makes driving easier and more enjoyable"

Richmond D., WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The ride and handling are fantastic....handles like sports car. The acceleration for a non turbo is quite good. I have complerte confidence in this car's driveability!"

Jason C., NM (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"This vehicle has adequate but not explosive acceleration. It does shine if you are interested in a fun SUV in so far as cornering and handling."

Richard R., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Drives like a car, not an SUV; Sporty handling but refined."

Michael F., CA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Good power and handling, great safety systems"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent handling, Fun to drive"

Anonymous, MN (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"It is a superbly handling and accelerating SUV. The 10-speaker Bose is the best I've heard. The interior is above average for the segment and it scores a "knock-out" punch exterior styling. A great value for the price on all of the safety features and other amenities for this segment as well."

Jason C., NM (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Superb handling, great road feel and precise steering."

Anonymous, NC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Was told that it had slow pick up/acceleration but this has not been the case. Handles well. Felt comfortable and familiar from the very start."

Anonymous, MI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Drives great; excellent visibility and command of the road."

Hans S., VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Handling is very good for a smaller CUV. However, it could use a bit more power."

Jeff F., ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

Comfort

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"Seat broke and noisy."

Anonymous, AR (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The seat bottom cushion is too small, short (not enough thigh support), hard and generally uncomfortable for any long trips. The ride and handling are great. The interior noise levels are good."

Anonymous, CA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"This is a huge step up from our 2014 Mazda 3. it is soon quiet and the ride is firm, without being hard."

Ross S., ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"This is my first Mazda and the 2017 CX-5 GT is very comfortable. The overall experience is like an entry level luxury vehicle. The front seats adjust very well. Everything is within reach of the driver and easy to find. We have the GT with all the bells and whistles and the adaptive cruise control works amazing for long rides. It will start and stop in traffic jams which makes for a more relaxing driving experience. The rear seat space is good but seats cannot be adjusted. I've sat back there and felt comfortable on a long ride. I'm 5'8" and for me all of the seats are comfy, but if you have a car full of people over 6 feet tall then it might not fit quite as well. There's a good amount of storage in the back too and the rear seats fold very easily. From what I read, Mazda made improvement to reduce road noise and I can say it does ride very quiet for a non-luxury car. The ride is very smooth. There's plenty of power and it handles corners very well for a CUV. Suspension is just where I like it: not too firm but not bouncy. It's fun to drive for a bigger vehicle. I really enjoy it!"

Mark A., CT (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"With the quality of materials used in the interior, it is a very smooth, quiet and luxurious ride."

Peter M., NJ (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"There 2017 model seems a lot quieter than previous models. The interior is well appointed and comfortable."

Ross S., SK (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Mileage is not that great"

William K., BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The car is very quiet and the seats are very comfortable for long trips"

Anonymous, FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Feels like a heavy car with complete control"

Anonymous, OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I have back discomfort riding in some cars but our CX5 has very comfortable seats and backs with very good support for my comfort. The seat heaters also give my back a good feeling. The noise level seems good to me. The ride is not as smooth as some cars but this is an SUV and to me it is fine."

Linda H., PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Car stabilization through a blizzard was uncanny. It was as if the car was on rails. I drove at speed limit while others crawled along at 40 mph. I enjoy the seat adjustment system. Opening the roof and the windows sometimes suffices for air conditioning. The AC is effective."

Anonymous, MA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The seats are the most comfortable I have ever used. The extreme quietness makes this car by far the least tiring car I have ever driven on long trips."

Anonymous, CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The Mazda, for a moderately priced vehicle, has an excellent and quiet ride. The seats are very comfortable and the fit & finish on the interior looks like a much more expensive model vehicle."

W C., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The car is very comfortable for short and long trips. The road noise can be loud at times."

Anonymous, IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"not big enough seats. better support needed. seat bottom should be longer to support legs"

John R., ON (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Quiet, good ride, handling. Navigation system is too complicated."

Anonymous, NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"There i low amount of road noise, it is a very comfortable ride, and the turn signal volume can be turned up."

Michael B., MN (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Entry, exit easy. Seats comfortable. Seat adjustment memory helpful. Car very quiet. I wanted to expand on handling; safety features main reason I bought; blind side; radar on cruise control. Front auto braking. Lane wander warning. Heads up display."

Michael G., SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The seats were more comfortable in the MX 6 I owned but wanted a vehicle easier to exit"

Rick A., MD (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Driver seat is not comfortable: too small, lacks thigh support. (I am 5'11".) Ride is not as controlled as I would like. Rough roads toss the car too much. It is ok on smooth roads. Noise is not a problem. Car is fairly quiet even on highway."

Anonymous, MA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"seats very comfortable noise is ok, but could be better comfortable ride"

Steve H., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"dual heated seats, dual fan and temp controls. Quiet ride."

Perryanne C., VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I love the lack of road noise in this model....its better than the 2015. The seats and ride are excellent."

Mary T., TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Smooth! Noises are muted."

David G., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The ride of cx-5 is much superior to any other car in its class. The seating and noise level also stand out as superior. Considering these things together, one feels like one is driving a car from a higher price segment."

Anonymous, WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The handling of this vehicle is best in it's class. The seats are supportive and great for a long trip. The car does need another 50 horsepower."

Richard R., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"seats are good could be a little more room in the front seats."

Anonymous, BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I'm very tall. The front seats fit great. I do not feel as if the seats are too short. I am very happy with the way they fit. In fact, I chose this vehicle because I was very comfortable in it."

Anonymous, BC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The ONLY complaint we have is the Dual Zone Environment. C'mon we're 10 inches apart and the controls aren't illuminated. The stock control knobs are far more superior in ease of use."

Jacques P., QC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Very quiet ride and incredible acceleration. Absolutely love this vehicle."

John S., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

The adjustable driver's seat fits me perfectly and no longer have back pain after driving for long periods (as I did in my last car, a 2007 Camry). The Active Driving Display makes driving much easier and safer (I think) for me. I am always aware of my speed, the speed limit, and what is around me... a great feature!"

Tim B., CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Better comfort that previous CRV and current Lexus ES. Also very quiet in cabin"

Anonymous, PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The seats are made of high quality materials and at times feel like a luxury vehicle. The noise is almost non-existent until high speed of 65 or greater, that's when the cabin noise starts getting louder, but it's still very much acceptable. The ride is smooth and quiet for the most part. The comfort of the CX-5 is at a level of Excellent, IMO."

"Updates to this year included noise reduction and improved interior finish and better seats"

Anonymous, TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"We wanted to buy the 2016 CX-5, but those seats really sucked -- uncomfortable even on the test drive. But, wonder of wonders, Mazda put some real thought into their redesign for 2017, and the CX-5 really is a very comfortable ride, plus the noise level is now nicely tamped down -- not silent like a Lexus, but a big improvement."

Anonymous, NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I really appreciate driving the Mazda CX-5 due to all the safety equipment. The heads up display on the windshield is definitely worth the cost since it displays a wealth of safety driving information such as following too close, car beside me, next turn for GPS etc."

"Heads-up display showing speed, speed limit, blind spot. All of the safety features (LKAS, ACC)."

Bruce C., OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

Kurt D., CO (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"10 Speaker Bose Audio, Power Heated Seats, Half leather/Cloth seats, Navigation, USB ports and ventilation in the rear. If you wanted to get any of this in a Honda it is $2000 more. "When I bought this car a year ago, I also considered the top-of-the line Suburu Forester, Honda CRV, Toyota RAV-4 and the Kia Sportage. Not only was the comfort and smoothness of the ride superior, but I saved a considerable amount of money. (The Forester was close.) I love my CX-5."

Judy M., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Looks great. Very comfortable with very good handling. Stylish. Excellent value for the money."

Faye M., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

Gary L., OH (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The only I miss on this vehicle is a driver's seat memory."

Mary T., TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The quality of materials used feels like a car that should cost twice as much. It is the value of all values in a car."

Peter M., NJ (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"For barely 35k, we got a compact SUV with features, style, comfort and reliability to meet or exceed any of the luxury brands comparable vehicles."

"All the safety features were standard. I have had Mercedes-Benz in the past, won’t likely buy again, considering the value mazda provides"

Tim W., MI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The grand touring trim has most of the extras including some great pits of tech like CAN cruise control, the headlamps move when the steering wheel is turned. Also my first vehical with a proximity key"

"All moptions were included in the CX5 Touring model. Everything is premium in fit and finish. The cabin is very well insulated from road noise."

Alex B., SC (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The navigation system is second rate or worse. If we had known how poor the system is we would have looked at other Mazda models without navigation or other manufacturers. This evaluation is based on our earlier experience with other navigation systems."

Sidney C., WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The CX-5 is competitive with alternatives costing 60-100% more."

"The price for the Mazda CX-5 was amazing. We kept thinking that the price we paid for this vehicle was a real bargain. We love the many features and the size is perfect."

Linda M., AL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"BAD DEALER SERVICE !!!"

Jorge N., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I don’t find the drivers seat very comfortable. The leather part of the seat is beveled and gives (me) A slightly pinched feeling I did not notice in other suvs I tested. I was however impressed with the rest of the car and felt that the seat for eventually break in. I’m still waiting."

"the best for that price"

"Good value compared to other similar brands. Grand Touring model included all new safety features."

Anonymous, ME (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I paid $26325 for the Touring with the P:referred Equipment Package, this is a steal. first off hands down the best looking SUV. The custom deep crystal blue mica black color is gorgeous. Sure you get a little more room with the Honda. Try to buy a Honda CRV with 10 speaker Bose, Navigation, power moonroof, power lift gate, rain sensers for under $31000. You cant. This car handles better, looks better is more comfortable. On 200-300 mile freeway trips I have gotten as high as 37mpg the entire distant. The only negative I have is the Navigations system can be frustrating. The menu drive system sometimes does not allow you to select the correct address. You get irritated and end up using the phone, or find the true address on the phone and plug it into the navigation. final note as a 67 year old driver on the road a lot I love the side and back warning lights and alarms. The blind spot monitoring has saved me several times. It is one of my favorite features of the car. This would save a lot of accidents if it was on all cars."

Richard F., OR (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"We got a better lease deal on our CX-5 than any of its competitors (Honda, Subaru, Ford, Kia, Nissan, etc)."

Andrew J., WI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Well engineered AWD driving SUV, the IActiveSense handling (for me) makes this the best driving experience next to BMW X3, and Q4 Audi. Recommend Grand Touring with HID display and flashing 19"wheels but I needed more tread (17in tires) dealing with rougher terrain in my region. Mazda needs to add Apple Carplay is reason I almost did not buy this car but the Infotainment system takes some getting use to but with console controls, its much like MBZ, BMW or Audi. Could use a little more room in rear seat. Very happy with highway 32mpg(Avg) with my driving style."

"I leased this vehicle for my wife but we both used it around town. I'm not a big fan of 4 cyl. vehicles but I must admit the car has a great ride and once in motion has good power."

W C., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent value"

Jerry S., OK (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Excellent value ... great combination of ride, noise abatement, handling, and safety tech at a price far less than comparably equipped competitors."

Anonymous, TX (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I've had several Mazda's in the past and this is my favorite so far. I like both the exterior and interior styling and upscale materials used. My CX-5 handles well, is quiet, smooth, and comfortable inside. One of my favorite features is the heads up display on the windshield. The CX-5 is roomy and acceleration is adequate although it could use a little more power. For the features, styling, and quality and the price I am very pleased with this vehicle."

Peter S., WA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"Great car for the price."

William M., PA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"The CX-5 delivers high value: great comfort, handling, and ride quality for a non-luxury price"

"I did not get a good discount off sticker since the 2017 models were in short supply when I purchased mine but still the sticker price is a great value for what I got."

"Mazda has packed all of the top-line amenities into this very competitive package."

Hans S., VA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"For the money I paid I couldn't find a more premium feel and driving experience in its class. Believe me, I test drove a few."

David G., FL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"I traded in a 2016 Mercedes GLC300 for this Mazda. That was my first Mercedes and this is my first Mazda. After only a weeks ownership I find the Mazda a much better car. I found the seats too hard on the Mercedes, most of the controls harder to use, the fuel economy much better in the Mazda, and the overall driving experience more fun in the Mazda. Overall the Mazda was a much better value than the Mercedes."

R B., MD (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"$12,000 less than comparable Acura and Lexus cars. As good or better. At for the money."

Brian S., WI (2017 Mazda CX-5)

"This is our second CX5. Love the car. Roomy. Great style. Good value for the price."

Jeff S., MA (2017 Mazda CX-5)

Richard R., IL (2017 Mazda CX-5)

Steve S., NY (2017 Mazda CX-5)
