""The keyless entry system stopped working and the dealer made several expensive attempts to fix it by replacing modules in the doors and re-running tests. When they finished the system works properly about 80% of the time. But the times it fails to open are unpredictable and of course seem to happen when arms are full of packages making key retrieval clumsy and inconvenient. Since the repair process was a guessing game by the dealer at my expense, Im not going to pay another $1,000 for them to guess again what might be going on with this system.""

"Where to begins? I have had to correct many issues with my wifes Mazda over the last 5 years. In 2022 I had to replace the spark plugs and 3 spark wires due to corrosion and misfires. In 2023 I had to replace the brake pads at 17,100 miles. No one can go through modern brake pads that fast unless they have a secret late night hobby as a street racer). Extremely unlikely for my midwestern wife. LOL. The latest issue from the Mazda was 7-8 months ago when I had to figure out why my wifes iPhone no longer connected to her Bluetooth in the car. I have yet to figure out why it stopped working but the only way we can get it to work as directly connecting the phone to the car with a lightning to usb cable. Overall, I do not recommend make and model. In plain text, Mazda sucks."

A seat that slides forward during a crash can transfer excessive force onto a belted occupant, increasing their risk of injury.
Summary:
Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2020-2021 CX-9 vehicles equipped with 60/40 split bench second-row seats. The left-side second-row seat may unexpectedly slide forward during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
What should you do:
Dealers will replace the internal parts of the affected second-row seats, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 4, 2021. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500, Option 4. Mazda's number for this recall is 5221I.
