Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV

The redesigned 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, introduced as an all-electric, dual-motor C400 sedan, is poised to take on luxury compact EVs such as the BMW i3, Lexus ES, and Tesla Model 3. The new C400 has more traditional styling than the egglike EQE and EQS electric sedans. Although the C400 looks like a swoopy sportback, it features a conventional trunk. The C400 has a 482-hp dual electric motors, which gives it all-wheel drive, paired to a two-speed transmission. Powered by a lithium-ion battery with a usable capacity of 94 kilowatt-hours, 800-volt DC fast charging, the driving range could be in excess of 470 miles. It also takes advantage of a new lithium-ion battery design that packs a ton of energy into a lightweight package.
