Road Test

While the four-cylinder Galant is not impressive, the V6 model is quick and nicely trimmed. The drivetrain is smooth, fuel economy is so-so, and handling is secure. But these attributes aren't enough to make the Galant competitive with the best in this class. Ride quality is choppy and stiff, even on smooth pavement. The wide turning circle makes parking awkward. Wind and road noise are noticeable, particularly around the windows.
