The Pathfinder is essentially unchanged since 1996, evolutionary improvements over the years made it quicker, quieter and more capable. But a tight cabin and a so-so ride remained significant drawbacks for this version of the Nissan SUV. While most models have a part-time-only four-wheel-drive system, a selectable full-time system is now standard on the LE.
