The forthcoming Ram 1500 REV enhances the recently refreshed Ram 1500 pickup truck with an extended-range powertrain. It uses a 3.6-liter V6 engine and an onboard generator to charge a battery pack that propels the vehicle. This is similar to the concept used by the Chevrolet Volt, minus the mechanical connection with the engine.
