"Twice when pulling a mid-sized trailer it would jump to a low gear and not shift until the trans had cooled. The trans temp gage said it was not abnormally hot. After sitting for a while it would shift normal. I have not had it checked out."

"The truck had a salvage title because it had gone into a ditch with the front end. It was fixed partially (enought to sell it). We had to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed properly. I've heard that Dodge trucks are famous for the 'death rattle' experienced when driving. This definitely rattled me but it was probably due to the damage received when it hit the ditch."
