Subaru Impreza 2000 wagon
The Impreza is by far the lowest-priced car equipped with all-wheel drive. even though it was introduced back in 1993, this remains a well-conceived and competitive car. Sprightly performance is standard fare: The Impreza Outback Sport version is fun to drive, with responsive handling, a willing engine, and competent braking, the RS even more so. The controls are logically laid out, and the ride is relatively good for a small car. The front seats provide ample support, but the rear seat is cramped. And cargo room is a bit skimpy. Expect a redesign in 2001.

In most cases, automotive warranties are based on the vehicle identification number (VIN), and the warranty will be valid regardless of ownership. The dealership can tell you exactly how much warranty is left.
