To answer those questions and more, we took an in-depth look at these two compact hybrid SUVs to compare how they fare in CR’s testing and surveys. There’s a clear winner in this battle.

We also note which active safety equipment—such as automatic emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, AEB that works at highway speed, blind spot warning (BSW), and rear cross traffic warning (RCTW)—comes as standard or optional equipment. Then we let you know which car we think is tops.
