Road Test

Forenza is fairly well equipped and may be tempting if you’re looking for a ride at a low price. However, it doesn't compare well with most competitors in this class. Fuel economy of 24 mpg overall with the automatic transmission is low and performance is so-so. The Forenza also falls short in ride, braking, emergency handling, and noise suppression. It is difficult to find one with the optional ABS and the Forenza received a Poor rating in the IIHS side-crash test.
