"It started during a road trip. We were unable to resolve it without returning home which we did. The Tesla service people quickly fixed it."

"We experienced a complete battery failure and needed to be towed from our location. We were still in the warranty period, and it was replaced with a refurbished battery. We are not certain what caused the failure, however we do exclusively supercharge since we do not have a garage to charge at home, and that may have been rough on the battery. Also, not certain if this was an early warning, but we were seeing some lag time with the odometer display. That has not happened since the battery was replaced. Although it was a very difficult day, Telsa roadside assistance was very good, and we are still extremely pleased with the vehicle."

"driver's door handle stopped extending, and i could not enter my car. Fixed by Tesla under extended warranty."

"The door handle present mechanism failed on one of the doors so I now need to use 2 hands to open the door. This is a common problem since the original Model S. I have experienced it on 4 doors so far but Tesla refuses to own the issue and do a recall to fix the problem."

"The rear hatch locking mechanism jammed shut and wouldn't open. The manual release cable failed to release the lock (and it's very hard to find). A Tesla mobile technician was unbelievable to repair the problem so we had to leave it at Tesla for repair"
