Anonymous A., CA (2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Water pump

"The water pump failed at 92k. Talked to the mechanic and he seen other 2019 Camry models with the same issue."

Anonymous, NC (2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Engine Minor

Accessory belts and pulleys, engine computer, engine mounts, engine knock or ping, fuel leaks, oil leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Oil leaks

"In December 2024, when the car had 46k miles and was 6 years old, an active timing cover leak was detected during routine maintenance at the dealer. Their quoted cost for the repair was $4825. After doing some research, I have decided not to get it fixed unless/until I get a low oil indicator or see oil on my driveway, neither of which has happened 8 months later. However, I'm very disappointed in the car and Toyota's response to my inquiries. Although I love most other things about my Camry (excepting the peeling paint, for which I paid a premium) I have lost faith in the Toyota brand. It makes me sad."

Anonymous A., CA (2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Display screen freezes up

"Occasionally, usually in cold weather, the screen gets stuck in its opening display so no audio is available, nor any of the other features. It usually recovers after 3-15 minutes. I reported to the dealer, and the response was a shrug."

Anonymous, WI (2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

Anonymous, NC (2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

    Paint/Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

"I noticed about 3 months ago that the paint on my spoiler had started peeling. Once it started, it progressed rather rapidly. It's almost to the point of being embarrassing to drive. The color is Sonic Red, for which I paid a premium price. I went to the dealership and asked the person I bought the car from is Toyota would do anything to fix it and his response was essentially "sucks to be you", although he said it more nicely than that. I did some internet research and concluded that there is virtually no chance that Toyota will stand behind their paint job. I do plan to get it painted because it detracts so much from the looks of the car. I haven't yet gotten a price quote. Again, VERY disappointed in Toyota quality. This is my 3rd Toyota, and by far my worst experience. I have lost faith in the brand."
