The refined Camry ranks with the best family sedans on the market. The Camry rides quietly and compliantly and handles predictably. And while the steering feels too light at times, it responds quickly and precisely. The standard 2.2-liter, 136-hp Four feels a bit sluggish but delivers very good fuel economy. The smooth optional 3.0-liter, 194-hp V6 is much more powerful and comes with a slick automatic, though it drinks more fuel and adds cost to the bottom line. Front seats are comfortable, and the rear seat is relatively roomy.
