Jerry H., PA (2009 Toyota Camry SE 3.5-L V6)"Problem with ABS module causing intermittent display problems on dash - ABS and brake lights on, speedometer to zero, tach jumping around. Did not cause noticeable performance issues otherwise"
Donald C., NM (2009 Toyota Camry LE 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"The ABS control module failed, causing the dashboard to go a little bit crazy: the speedometer would fluctuate the temperature gauge would fluctuate the lights would flicker on and off etc. All of these problems are a result of the failure of the ABS control module, a common problem for Toyota Camry's that have this many miles, about 120,000. Repairing this problem at a dealership would have cost $3,500. Repairing it at a Toyota specialty aftermarket shop would have cost close to $2,000. I ended up purchasing a replacement module from a company that refurbishes them for about $200 and repairing it myself after much investigating on the internet."
