""The engine is very noisy under acceleration. I am getting very good gas mileage, but I really think the engine is underpowered. When taking off from a stoplight, or going up a steep hill, the engine sounds like it is working very hard, and there is a LOT of noise inside the cabin. Once up to speed, the noise is much lower, unless I need to accelerate as when getting on a freeway, or trying to pass another vehicle. I am concerned about the long-term life of the engine from working it so hard under these circumstances. Also, the rubber gaskets around the doors seem to have not been designed to be in the best location. Snow, slush, mud and dirt come in under the door edges and collect above the rocker panels and on the inside-lower portion of the door. When getting in/out of the car, it is very easy to get this "muck" on our pants legs. The dealership's service department has been made aware of this situation, and they have admitted to receiving LOTS of complaints about this same problem. There is nothing that can be done to correct the current situation, but it is definitely something the manufacturer needs to change in their future design.""

"Driver side front door has an air leak that seems to only present when the car encounters a cross wind - not present during normal highway driving, but present on highway during a windy day. It sounds like someone blowing over the edge of a piece of paper. Also - front dash is starting to make creaking noises after 5000 miles."
