"LED headlights appeared to be mis-aimed coming from the factor so that they were illuminating a very small section of the road ahead and with an extreme cutoff. The dealer said the headlights were aimed and functioning properly, and I confirmed with VW Canada that there was not an issue with the design or factory setup of the lights. However, I drive a lot at night on wildlife-infested highways and realized they were extremely unsafe as is. Eventually, I had them inspected by an independent garage, who used a precise calibration tool and found that the headlights were indeed angled downward very significantly. They are now corrected and functioning very, very well. (I note that the iihs found similar problems with the new Tiguan models in the early builds)."

"There was a leak around my skylight. Water got in and shorted out some of the connections. The leak was fixed and all carpets replaced, under warranty."

The dealer replaced the headliner under warranty, but did not properly diagnose the leak in the first attempt, resulting in a second leak event which stained the headliner again. The dealer then performed heavy repairs involving grinding and repainting the roof where the sunroof frame sits, based on a VW Technical Service Bulletin for this issue."

"Front right beam have a few cracks on it and no impact Mark's, they do not want to change it under warranty"

"The "spider traps" for the moon roof drains got clogged and flooded the inside of the car. Awaiting carpet replacement from dealer."

"Front bumper fascia was loose / not clipped in properly, was machined / manufactured incorrectly, dealer replaced in warranty."

"The paint on the mirrors faded and look horrible! Otherwise this car is a rockstar. And, I'm not a travel RN anymore, so I won't be putting many miles on it anymore. I can drive my 93 Ford Ranger around and tour in the VW."
