Volvo ES90

Volvo's new ES90 all-electric flagship looks like a sedan, but its hatchback-style trunk opening and slightly elevated ground clearance put it somewhere between a car and an SUV. The optional dual-motor powertrain gives it all-wheel drive, and battery range is expected to be between 300 and 350 miles on a charge. It's the first Volvo vehicle to feature an 800-volt electrical architecture, which allows for super-fast charging: the automaker says the battery can go from a 10-percent state-of-charge to 80 percent in 20 minutes at public DC fast chargers. The interior is dominated by a vertically oriented, Google-powered infotainment system. Active safety and driver assistance systems take advantage of LIDAR and quicker processing power than prior Volvos.
