Volvo V50

The Volvo V50 is a bit small, but its efficient interior makes full use of the available space. However, that isn’t enough to compensate for a rear seat that's too small, even for children. We bought the turbocharged T5, which is quick and agile, but has a very stiff ride. Stability control was standard in later years, but AWD was dropped for 2011 models.
