As Senior Director of Consumer Reports’ 327-acre Auto Test Center in Colchester, Conn., Jake Fisher oversees the auto testing program, which includes everything from vehicles to tires to child car seats. He drives the Consumer Reports automotive strategy and manages a team of dedicated automotive engineers, statisticians, and support staff.
Experience and Education
Jake holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in human factors in design and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Before CR, he worked as a development engineer at General Motors. He has experience at GM’s design headquarters and desert proving grounds, and at various manufacturing plants.
