Lincoln

Ford’s luxury brand offers models that are based on vehicles from the Ford brand, yet are plusher and better equipped. Most recent models possess competent ride and handling. The well-executed MKZ sedan, which is based on the Ford Fusion, stands out with a luxurious, quiet interior, and ride and handling that rival European sports sedans. And the MKX is one of the highest-scoring two-row luxury SUVs we've tested. But we can’t say the same about the MKC compact crossover, which doesn’t make a compelling case for itself over the Ford Escape Titanium. Like their Ford siblings, the Sync 3 infotainment system has been replacing the unreliable and overly-complex MyLincoln Touch system. Lincoln reliability has been spotty, with the MKC and MKX among the lower-rated models, while the MKZ and large Navigator SUV are average.
