Smart

Smart only sold one vehicle in the U.S.—the tiny ForTwo. Its extremely small dimensions and narrow turning radius make it a breeze to park, but the gas-powered models had worse fuel economy than many larger vehicles, and its jittery and jumpy ride was unpleasant. The ForTwo was offered in both coupe and convertible versions. It ended its run being offered strictly as an EV. As of 2019, new Smart vehicles are no longer sold in the U.S. Before then, Smart was part of Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz. The Smart brand continues on in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia, and it is now a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely.
