We hired professional painter who used Sherwin Williams Duration Paint. They washed sanded and caulked the exterior of house. Followed paint preparation and application directions and applied two coats.
After 6 months the paint on any East/West surface of the home is failing. Paint is pulling back from wood and falling off. I had Sherwin Williams rep come out and look at the paint he said preparation was not correct but could not answer why only East/West surfaces were effected.
I can stand at a North/South meets East/West section of the home and it looks like two different buildings. My opinion is the UV protection agents in this paint are not reliable. Would not use this product again.

Good color stability
A "little" pricy
My beach house was painted 8 years ago, after hurricane Ivan, with this product. It was sandblasted in hurricane Katrina and exposed to the rigors of sun and salt air, for many seasons. The painting was redone in 2012 because of rust stains. After setting the nails and puttying over them, Duration was my choice for painting, again. The results were never better.
