If you have an Apple fan on your holiday shopping list, you’re in luck. Many holiday deals on AirPods, iPads, iPhones, and MacBooks are still available at or close to their Black Friday sale prices. That’s welcome news, given Apple products are notoriously pricey and less likely to be discounted than those of some other brands.
So if you’ve been eyeing those AirPods Max all year or you’re looking to upgrade an aging Apple Watch, this season can be a smart time to finally splurge. Keep in mind, however, that we’re so close to Christmas that shipping times may be delayed. So pay close attention to your shipping options before you check out. You may need to consider retailers that offer in-store pickup if you need something by a specific date. Otherwise, you may have to spend a little extra on expedited shipping, making finding savings all the more important.

AirPods
This is a fantastic price on Apple’s AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation, and it may not last long. It was also available at Amazon, but it appears to have sold out there already. Lacking the padded ear tips that plug your ear canals, these buds don’t offer much passive noise cancellation, but they have reasonably effective noise-canceling tech. You can elect to turn the noise-canceling feature off and hear what’s going on around you, which can be great when you’re on a run or walking on a busy street. In terms of sound and fit, the buds are very similar to the regular AirPods 4.
The AirPods Pro 3, the newest version of Apple’s top-of-the-line earbuds, were $12 cheaper during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but this is currently the only discount you can get. The Pro 3 earbuds offer new functions, like live translation and a workout mode that allows you to leave your Apple Watch at home. They still offer a clinical-grade hearing test and the option of turning your Pro 3s into an over-the-counter hearing aid. They also sound good and offer a better fit and noise-canceling than last year’s Pro 2s.
Last year’s AirPods Pro 2 buds sound good and offer effective noise-canceling, including a transparency mode that pipes in outside sound so that you’re not fully cut off from the world while out walking.
The AirPods Max sound really good and have superb and flexible noise-canceling tech. They have a high-performing transparency mode to pipe in outside sound, as well as spatial audio capability. But the biggest selling point might be the distinctive design and premium feel we’ve all come to expect from an Apple product.
They were $400 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, a price we only ever see during the holiday weekend, so we don’t expect to see that sale again, unfortunately. But this price also doesn’t come around outside of the holiday season. They typically retail for $480, so even though you missed out on the "max" savings, you can still get something off the top if you wanted to get these as a gift this year.
Apple Watches
For those motivated to up their movement in the upcoming year: We think the new Apple Watch SE 3 is the most capable version yet of Apple’s budget smartwatch. It offers nearly all the health and fitness features of the pricier Series version. Plus, count on impressive battery life and a bright, durable display.
If you want a sleek, do-everything smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 11 is a solid pick. The price has even dropped $10 since Cyber Monday! It can do all the basics well, like tracking your sleep, workouts, steps, heart rate, and more. It also offers a few health features that the SE 3 doesn’t—like hypertension monitoring, electrocardiogram readings, and a blood oxygen sensor—but those may not be worth the extra $150 to you.
MacBooks
The 15-inch MacBook Air, equipped with Apple’s latest M4 chip, offers nearly 15 hours of battery life and weighs 3.3 pounds. It’s fast, portable, and well-suited for everyday users. We haven’t tested the 13-inch version of this 2025 model, which is also on sale for a nice price right now, but previous 13-inch MacBook Air models have consistently been top performers. Travelers may find the smaller model a better fit due to its lighter weight—and, of course, it costs less, too.
Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (2022, M2, 8 Core)
Thin, light, and powerful, the 2022 MacBook Air is a great machine, even though there’s a newer MacBook Air for shoppers to consider. The older model provides a compelling combination of performance and battery life. Instead of using an Intel chip, it’s powered by Apple’s own M2 processor, which performs with admirable speed and efficiency.
iPads
If you want your tablet to pack more power than the base iPad model, you can also snag a discount on the 11-inch iPad Air. This model’s M3 chip means it’s more capable of handling demanding tasks, like video editing or gaming, than the basic iPad model. However, if you tend to use your tablet for just the basics, the Air may be overkill.
Desktops
If you are curious about switching to a Mac, or perhaps just tired of Windows, the 2024 Mac Mini is the most affordable entry point into the Apple ecosystem, provided you already have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard handy. It is also a fantastic, low-stakes machine for anyone looking to get their feet wet with iOS programming; it runs Xcode (Apple’s app development software) beautifully, making it a great gift for a budding developer or a student. This is the first time we’ve seen this Mac dip below $500, and represents one of the better desktop deals of the year.
Apple Accessories
Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable
This two-meter cord, designed for the iPhone 5 through the iPhone 14, survived 11,500 bends without failing in the rig we created to test charging cord durability. That’s the equivalent of more than six years’ worth of use, according to our estimates.
Apple AirTag
The Bluetooth-based AirTag tracker can be a saving grace for travelers—or those with pets that are inclined to run off. As with other trackers, the tiny device gets attached to any item you want to monitor. If the item goes missing, the AirTag relays its location via Bluetooth to other nearby iPhones, which discreetly convey that info to you. AirTags work best if you’re looking for them within Bluetooth range (roughly 30 feet of your own phone). But, that said, there are millions of iPhones and other Apple devices roaming around out there to help if you find yourself searching, say, a park or a school campus for the keys you dropped. They simply need to have the Find My feature activated.
Apple Pencil Pro
For avid iPad users, a stylus can help you easily navigate menus, jot down notes, or create pro-level digital art. The premium Apple Pencil Pro comes with all the bells and whistles, like haptic feedback, Find My capability, and pressure sensitivity. Note that this stylus is only compatible with certain iPad Pro and Air models. (We have also reviewed alternatives to the Pencil Pro.)
Apple Pencil USB-C
The Apple Pencil USB-C doesn’t offer quite as many features as the Apple Pencil Pro, but it’s still a great add-on for your iPad if you plan to sketch or take notes. The USB-C model doesn’t support pressure sensitivity, meaning the thickness of your lines won’t vary based on how hard you press down, but it writes smoothly and accurately and can attach to the side of your iPad for easy storage. This model is compatible with the latest generation iPad A16 and the newest iPad Pro and Air models.
