If you have an Apple fan on your holiday shopping list, you’re in luck. Prices are coming down on AirPods, iPads, iPhones, and MacBooks, bringing you stellar gift options at great prices.
There’s a chance that Black Friday sales next week could be slightly better than what we’re seeing now, but Apple discounts tend to be fairly consistent.
In years past, the early prices have remained steady over Black Friday and Cyber Monday for virtually everything. And for the devices that did see bigger discounts, the difference was minuscule, while waiting may risk retailers running out of stock.

MacBooks
The 15-inch MacBook Air, equipped with Apple’s M4 chip, offers nearly 15 hours of battery life and weighs 3.3 pounds. It’s fast, portable, and well-suited for everyday users. We haven’t tested the 13-inch version of this 2025 model, which is also on sale for a nice price right now, but previous 13-inch MacBook Air models have consistently been top performers. Travelers may find the smaller model a better fit due to its lighter weight—and, of course, it costs less, too.
Apple MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
The MacBook Air has been a great choice for most people since the first model was released way back in 2008. This one—outfitted with Apple’s homegrown M1 processor—debuted in 2020 and is still a compelling choice for many people. (Heck, this article was written on one!) This model is now getting hard to find, but if you see one, it’s selling at a price so low it practically requires a double-take.
AirPods
This is a fantastic price on Apple’s AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation. Lacking the padded ear tips that plug your ear canals, these buds don’t offer much passive noise cancellation, but they have reasonably effective noise-canceling tech. You can elect to turn the noise-canceling feature off and hear what’s going on around you, which can be great when you’re on a run or walking on a busy street. In terms of sound and fit, the buds are very similar to the regular AirPods 4.
This is one of the best prices we’ve seen on the AirPods Pro 3, the newest version of Apple’s top-of-the-line earbuds. The Pro 3 earbuds offer new functions, like live translation and a workout mode that allows you to leave your Apple Watch at home. They still offer a clinical-grade hearing test and the option of turning your Pro 3s into an over-the-counter hearing aid. They also sound good and offer a better fit and noise-canceling than last year’s Pro 2s.
Last year’s AirPods Pro 2 buds sound good and offer effective noise-canceling, including a transparency mode that pipes in outside sound so that you’re not fully cut off from the world while out walking. We sometimes see their price dip even lower around Black Friday.
The AirPods Max sound really good and have superb and flexible noise-canceling tech. They have a high-performing transparency mode to pipe in outside sound, as well as spatial audio capability. But the biggest selling point might be the distinctive design and premium feel we’ve all come to expect from an Apple product. This is the best price we’ve seen all year. They did reach $400 last Black Friday; it’s a tossup whether it’s worth spending the extra $30 right now, in case they sell out later.
Apple Watches
For those motivated to up their movement in the upcoming year: We think the new Apple Watch SE 3 is the most capable version yet of Apple’s budget smartwatch. It offers nearly all the health and fitness features of the pricier Series version. Plus, count on impressive battery life and a bright, durable display.
If you want a sleek, do-everything smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 11 is a solid pick. It can do all the basics well, like tracking your sleep, workouts, steps, heart rate, and more. It also offers a few health features that the SE 3 doesn’t—like hypertension monitoring, electrocardiogram readings, and a blood oxygen sensor—but those may not be worth the extra $150 to you.
The Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm) is now a generation old, but it still delivers stellar performance. It comes with a bright display, fast-charging capabilities, and all the Apple Watch basics, from automatic workout detection to sleep tracking. The larger 46mm case option is also on sale. For about $50 less, though, you can snag the newer SE 3, which performs even better in our labs.
iPads
We think this year’s model of Apple’s basic iPad is a great pick for nearly everyone. Count on a crisp 11-inch screen and plenty of battery life. Plus, at just about 1 pound, it’s easy to take along with you while traveling.
If you want your tablet to pack more power than the base iPad model, you can also snag a discount on the 11-inch iPad Air. This model’s M3 chip means it’s more capable of handling demanding tasks, like video editing or gaming, than the basic iPad model. However, if you tend to use your tablet for just the basics, the Air may be overkill.
iPhones
The iPhone 16e is Apple’s budget smartphone option. It’s a compact 6.1 inches, with reliable battery life and standout durability. You won’t get a particularly impressive camera when compared to other available iPhone models—the 16e doesn’t offer the 0.5x ultrawide option, for example—but it’s plenty powerful for most of us. This deal is for the unlocked model.
In the market for a phone upgrade? You’ll lose little by opting for last year’s iPhone 16, which performs nearly as well in our tests as Apple’s newest model. Expect a crisp, 6.1-inch display, impressive dual-rear camera system, and 37 hours of battery life in our testing.
If you want all the typical iPhone pros—a high-res display, proven durability, and capable camera system—but with a bigger screen, last year’s 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus model is a solid pick. Best Buy’s Doorbuster deal is available on the unlocked model only.
Apple Accessories
Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable
This two-meter cord, designed for the iPhone 5 through the iPhone 14, survived 11,500 bends without failing in the rig we created to test charging cord durability. That’s the equivalent of more than six years’ worth of use, according to our estimates.
Apple Air Tags (4 Pack)
Much like trackers made by Samsung and Tile, Apple AirTags work best if it’s within Bluetooth range (roughly 30 feet) of your own phone. But, that said, there are millions of iPhones and other Apple devices roaming around out there that can pick up a signal and discreetly convey it to you when you find yourself searching, say, a park or a school campus for the keys you dropped. Is the tracking pinpoint accurate? No. But it’s close enough to give you a huge head start in your search.
Apple Pencil Pro
For avid iPad users, a stylus can help you easily navigate menus, jot down notes, or create pro-level digital art. The premium Apple Pencil Pro comes with all the bells and whistles, like haptic feedback, Find My capability, and pressure sensitivity. Note that this stylus is only compatible with certain iPad Pro and Air models. (We have also reviewed alternatives to the Pencil Pro.)
