Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was excellent. Tasks like email, word processing and web browsing will be speedy and you can even accomplish tougher tasks like video editing and mid-range gaming at top speed. In addition, demanding video games will show smooth graphics and have a quick response.
Ergonomics: The desktop, with its included keyboard and mouse, was well-designed, and was comfortable and convenient to use. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, adding to convenience when placing them. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. There's no dedicated number pad on the keyboard. The mouse was not as comfortable to use as others. You can't easily replace the hard drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally.
Display: The display quality was Excellent overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was brighter than most, a plus for viewing in bright indoor lighting. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation. Its display produces a smaller array of colors than on most other tested all-in-ones.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB of hard drive space offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. Has a fast 7200RPM speed on the secondary hard drive, where files can be saved. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using Thunderbolt for maximum performance. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. Video outputs include: supporting Thunderbolt over USB-C; these are useful for connecting to an HDTV or separate monitor.
Downsides: There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one. It has a shorter-than-typical 3 months of free tech support by telephone.
